Deval Patrick got 56% of the votes in a state where 85% of the voters Democrats? And this when Democrats were sweeping other states? Pitiful. What's amazing is that Romney won this running as a Republican, and managed to get a lot of legistlation and conservative judges through. Truly amazing.

In the debate he said he was pro choice because he had a close family member die from an illegal abortion.

It's a touching story and he convinced me when he said he would not change his position on abortion. But now he has changed. So which is worse making a promise over a dead relative and not keeping it. Or, is the story a lie and he didn't have a relative die from illegal abortions.

Nope, its a true story. I think he was pro life all along but said he would 'support' a womans right to choose. Even if that's not true though...look at what he is saying now. He has learned through lifes experiences...and changed his view (for the better) on some issues. Shouldn't we all aspire to that mindset? Be open to change...if it's the right change? I think so.
