  • Oh Clarence you beautfil man, why did you have to leave us?!

    RIP Big Man :'(

  • i know this song was written with the liberal in mind but after how bad Obama has failed America, this song can be viewed as coming from a conservative/republican point of view.

  • I agree.I dont agree with Bruces political views but I still love him and admire him.Even though I dont agree with him,I admire that he speaks his mind on issues he cares about.

  • Sounds like some good ol' vintage BRUCE !

  • hes still got it

  • one of my favore bruce springsteen songs ever.

  • Honestly, I hope Obama uses this song. What's cooler than saying "don't worry"?

  • This song is definitely the best song of the Magic Album. Wow! rhis is the first tie hearing it and I'm amazed!

  • I love this song and I hope Springsteen will play it like the album version once at a live show... Because I think the album version is way better than the live version.

  • He just did in Ireland dude...so amazing!!!My fav song of the whole show!

  • The keyboard solo at 1:55 is awesome!!! One of the coolest!!! Also I've been at that boardwalk in Asbury Park a lot, lol

  • you're totely right Bruce is for everyone!!!! im also only 14 and I heard Bruce first time here at Christmas time now I here him all the time (sorry my english)

  • im 13 too hes my favourite singer

  • 1st time I heard it it reminded me of 10th Ave freeze out. Bruce is far and away the the best live act of the last 35 years.

  • This song has so much energy in it, I looove it! this song shows us that Bruce Springsteen is, and will always be; the Boss :D

  • Great song I might get to see him in concert for my 48th birthday.

  • thats my car though...

  • Thunder Road = best Bruce song imo and im 20 ^^

  • BRUCE FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!

  • Ya Know..It's a rare thing that everybody that hears it..likes it. But then agian..I'm 55 and remember "Born To Run" & stuff. I think you're younger...keep listening and Go Back!

  • I'm only 26 and I agree with this guy. You should really check out stuff like Jungleland, Thunder Road, Cadillac Ranch, etc. Very few artists keeping it real like Bruce nowadays.

  • Right on Durango! For a young fella u got some pretty eclectic musical tastes. Life is a smorgasborg or as "the Band" put it-a Carnival.Keep keepin' on. Check out "This Hard Land" in Madrid by the Boss. Peace out!

  • i am 45 and still going strong. Just got a baby son. I am just now holding him in my lap while listening Bruce!(My oldest son allso likes Bruce). I hope i will hawe enough money to buy tickets to Bruces next concert in Finland for me and for him.

  • I'm only 16 actually and i am in love with all of Bruce's songs, they just never change and anyone of his songs can move me. Some of my favorites are even the older ones such as "thunder road", "born to run", and "jungleland". Bruce can please any audience of any age and that is why he is so adored.

  • Wow, you nailed it. The next "Bruce generation" is coming. But, like my late father commented, when i tried to explain the fascination of Bruces songs to him, "My son, it is just music".

  • I'm 18 and I have grown up on Bruce Springsteen music. I love this song and hope he never changes...

  • Great great song!

  • Very fitting...the Boss at a Car Show & Shine...as Hawkeye Peirce usta say" Finest Kind"! Nice shots..thanks! Reminds me of Born to Run!

  • wow

    very good

  • bruce is king or at least he should be our president. hoyt, a proud american

  • You Know..you might be right. I still think he's better as a poet. Puttin' a guy like that in the White House would be TOO GOOD!

  • adoro bruce springsteenn!! il 25 giugno a milanooo!!! nn vedo l'oraaa!! bruce i love youuuuu!!! Melany from italy

  • The third single will be Girls In Their Summer Clothes.

  • i hope this song will be the third single from magic. good song, good album

  • Oh yeah. enuff said

  • I LOVE THE CHORUS

  • Jason Jabber your the biggest idiot i have seen on youtube and i have seen many, you go out of your way to comment on all brice vids, and how can you say he has a limited musical vocabulary? that comment proves you have no clue in that pea sized brain of yours about music

  • bruce is so sexy!!! i love him so effin much!!!! i love his music too :) great musican and a preformer too :)love this song :)

  • His new album magic is great!! Everytime Im down, and I listen his music it always cheers me up in No time..its the greatest music ever. I love him!

  • One of the rare things that gets better and better with age....:)

  • sexy man and wonderful song!

  • it's a great song, stirs the blood. It's what Bruce is all about, what everybody loves about him and always has. Hope to see you soon Boss, Love from Down Under Australia the greatest place to live in the world.

  • the music is pretty close to the song he wrote for gary us bonds. (im out of work)

  • God Bless Bruce and his band,

and of course his family. Long may he be the voice of hearts and souls.

  • Awesome man and cars. luv him

  • Im a conservative and I love my country and I appreciate his perspective on this album. It may not be positive but is very heartfelt. Bruce is way cool!

  • I think we need to appreciate each other's patriotism regardless of what our political views are.

  • the greatest entertainer other than elvis,no question!!

  • By far the best track on the CD.

  • Reminded me more of Hungry Heart than 10th Avenue....I can't really see the Avenue comparisons...but nevermind. I love this song. It reminds me of Hungry Heart but it's not a big rip-off. It's just the sax riff at the start. The Boss is back, and this is Killer. :D

  • The boss is back and has come to save rock'n'roll for the second time...another 'born to run',another 'darkness on the edge of town' and another e-steet band classic.Big man as good as ever, springsteen as alive as ever

  • STILL THE BOSS!

  • ...interpretation of lyrics, please?

  • Check out his Today Show performance for an answer.

  • So what if it's 10th Avenue meets Hungry Heart. It's good. It's a rock and roll record, not a symphony. Rock and roll at its best is for the people and the people (myself included) love Bruce. And I'm an obsessesd music snob...enjoy it for what it is. A fun revisiting of some of his classic themes and musical feels.

  • jabber get back in the hills you moran.

  • how has he recycled on this track.

i can see what you mean SOMETIMES. cause with over 300 songs, you're gonna repeat stuff, but how with this track. it has the same FEEL as other tracks, like its a combo between 10th Ave. Freeze Out and Hungry Heart, but other than that....and if you dont like him, why're you here? i hate U2 but that doesn't mean i go on their videos and bash them.

  • Yea, I was thinking 10th Avenue Freeze Out right away...then I read your message...but I there's a little of Cover Me too, don't you think?

  • ive heard that a lot, and i can see it (or hear it, i should say haha), but i dont think the similarities pop out as much as other songs. but i definitely agree with another poster, best track on the album.

  • Your allowed to take our own ideas right lol. Nah it has similar chord progression but not quite the same. Similar in ways but different story different lyrics definitely. Not enough piano on this album lol.

  • vintage bruce springsteen right here

    vintage bruce

"ship liberty sailed away on a bloody red horizon. groundskeeper open the gate and let the wild dogs run" I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS BUT ITS FUCKING AWESOME

  • think its a reference to the boys going off to war in Iraq

  • REMINDS ME OF COVER ME

  • Pure class!!!

  • sounds like 10th ave.freeze out

  • It's a 10th Ave shout out.

  • sort of reminds me of a cross between 10th ave. freeze out and hungry heart (for some reason thats the first song i thought of when i heard this).

  • That's it exactly. The chord progression is similar to that of 10th Ave. Freeze-out; the lyrics are sad and dejected but the tune is incredibly happy and catchy---just like Hungry Heart.

  • I see Patti's moved up from the tambourine!

  • amazing! I cant wait til i can get my hands on the new album. im going to see the opening show in hartford in tuesday and i cant wait! this song reminds me of tenth avenue freeze-out. Love it!

  • Bruce, we missed you! We need you!

The world has become so ugly...

  • Excellent- can't wait to hear it live in NJ

  • Two words.

    Instant Classic.

  • By far best song on the album - and the album is an instant classic. Absolutely love this song!!!!!!
