The masks are there for a reason. Isolation and Insulation to assist the process of enhancing the psychological torture methods adopted.

Of coure, as we all very well know, other forms of torture included shock treatments in insulated rooms (Hot and cold air shock treatment), electric shocks, naked bodies subjected to faeces and piss for 48 hours, drugging, walking on barbed wires, etc.

God knows what they subjected their naked bodies to. I'm not muslim but i'm hurt and very dissappointed.

To keep any sort of conflict at a minimum, prisoners are segregated by not allowing them to communicate with each other, otherwise they can plan a resistance. I think you're pretty out of touch with reality and the facts to make a statement like "You're there for a reason." knowing full well that hundreds of prisoners have been released without charge. The reason the majority of prisoners were at Guantanamo was because Afghan warlords wanted cash rewards. Everyone has the right to the evidence against them due process, at least when you're in American custody. You say they're there for a reason, we say prove it!
