Compton NEVER did!! The 46th pct in Fordham once had 93 in 1 year and that's not even technically the SBx.

Heights. Each 1 has a population around the size of Cpt. The whole Bronx has nice areas too. The east Bronx is mostly Italian and the mafia makes sure there is no street crime. NW Bronx is mostly Jewish/Irish and rich. The NE (47th) is mostly Jamaican and the area is nice - but the guns will bark!

@elmoskater - The South Bronx was a concrete jungle. I been to Compton and it's full of grass and trees. The SBx looks better now bc it's been re-built after it was all burned down in the 70's.!! NY is the most stressful place in America even for the rich! Also - it's fact - go check... there were precincts (some only 1 square mile) in the SBx that had over 100 homicides in a year... Compton NEVER did!! The 46th pct in Fordham once had 93 in 1 year and that's not even technically the SBx.

Heights. Each 1 has a population around the size of Cpt. The whole Bronx has nice areas too. The east Bronx is mostly Italian and the mafia makes sure there is no street crime. NW Bronx is mostly Jewish/Irish and rich. The NE (47th) is mostly Jamaican and the area is nice - but the guns will bark!

@spideymayne - you do realize that Snoop and Dogg Pound were kicking over fake buildings in a studio right?? that part was never meant to even be in the video - but when they got shot at they had to go film in Times Square with protection from the NYPD and the NOI... I actually liked Snoop and the Dogg Pound (had their albums)... but that was "Hollywood style" that wasn't street

NO... if you know the history it was never supposed to be a diss... they only decided to do the studio kicking over buildings because they were mad the trailer got shot at... which makes it a "Hollywood" move. The chorus line is not a diss... that was an old NY anthem (Grandmaster Flash) telling people that you might get fooled by the bright lights rich ppl and end up getting got... that's not a diss.. check the history.

What doesn't make sense is why you think the song isn't a dis despite the following:
A) That same hook is performed by -California- artists;
B) A video features those same artists knocking over buildings in the middle of New York;
C) The song in question was recorded at the height of the East Coast/West Coast beef;
D) The artists in question have made plenty of dis records.

They came up with the lame idea to use studio graphics after they got shot at. Btw - there was no real east/west beef... that was some foolishness Suge Knight sold to the media and gullible ppl.
