And the constitution says you have to be 35 years old 14 years residency and a natural born citizen to be qualified to be president. Obama is experience enough to be president. Secondly, the auto insurance regulations are mandated by each state, not the Federal government. The false comparison to auto insurance is that the insurance is to protect the other driver, not the driver who caused the accident. 1. Obama inherited an economic shitstorm caused by financial deregulation.
2. Obama is criticized for passing an 800 billion dollar stimulus, but nobody questions Bush's 1.3 trillion in tax cuts to the rich & spending another trillion on an unnecessary war.
3. Deficit spending (from WWII) got us out of the last Depression.
4. Any health care reform bill would SAVE money compared to doing nothing.

On top of that, he's doing his own thing, and the money is piling up as a result.

It's a delicate balance with the budget, and a lot of Obama's beginning time (I give it about a year and a half at least) has been and will be trying to undo what Bush did (which is a LOT). Until he makes some serious headway there, I admit, it's not going to look good for him or the country, and people who are quick to judge...well, you can tell what they're thinking.

You haven't worked in the private sector much, I gather. I've seen incompetence in both public and private sector jobs - it really all depends on the institutional culture rather than the supporting economic model.
The public school system fails in some places (and should be fixed when it does), but it works well in others. Countries with better educational systems than ours are public, but there is a lot of public outrage when it doesn't work well, and things get fixed quickly.

We treat the Bible with more respect than fundamentalists because we treat the Bible as literature. @theutubehater, the country was at MINIMAL debt for the past 50-100 years. our national debt shot up during the Regan years, and then continue to double during Bush Senior. It was the Clinton Administration that was finally able to balance the budget and bring in a surplus by using both liberal and conservative fiscal policy. And then again, during the Bush Jr years, the debt doubled AGAIN! these are what you people call "conservatives" - PURE BULL SH*T!!

Bushes numbers didnt start looking real bad until his last year.
And he was elected twice by all those conservatives that seem to have disappeared now, so deny it all you want, but independents, conservatives, and even libertarians had to be voting for him both times for him to keep winning.
Most of america is simply stupid, and it irritates me that all the idiots who voted for him seem to have vanished in Bushes last year as if he never really had any support

Well I can't agrue with that. All I can say is in 2000 in voted for Gore. 2004 voted for Bush cuz thought he had a better game plan than kerry for the war (which I have NEVER thought we should be there but cutting and running is not what I think is a smart move).
Then in 08'. Said screw the republicians and democrats which I was a register democrat until I heard of Ron Paul and finger out that the republicians and democrats neither one of the is on the side of the people

well, as a liberal, Kucinich had to be my first choice as he holds the closest to my values and in his long public life he has shown himself true to his word and a fighter.
If you like Ron Paul you should love him. You might say hes the Ron Paul of the liberal side. Just as snubbed by his side also sadly.
I respect Ron Paul and wouldnt mind trying him out once as president, but if we had run-off voting, he would be my third choice in 2008 election
