  • Maybe people like phantom1000A should die like this man, We can not afford assholes in america

  • He had such insightful and deep ideas. It's so sad that I only know of this man through his death. I wish he didn't have to do this.

  • i wish all war protesters would die like him. we cant afford weakness in America.

  • Peace brothers and sisters. Say NO.

  • people are a cancer.

If only we all had enough heart to do what Malachi did, all at once :)

  • Um. Take heart, my friend. You are wounded and you are focussing on the downside of people. There is love, there is hope. Take the medicines that are good, and the cancer will be overwhelmed. I encourage you to look at people when they are at their best.

  • I agree with him. It's horrible that a man who had people flayed alive and required under penalty of law that his image be put up in every home was deposed and executed.

Nobody was being harmed by anyone in the Middle East before America stuck its nose in. Saddam was handing out puppies and ham sandwiches until we attacked. He was a big cuddly Santa Claus, like the Maoists in Vietnam.

  • you are the biggest dumbass in the world. srry just call it when i see em.

  • "I call 'em as I see 'em." is the phrase you're looking for. The "as" is not referencing time, so substituting "when" isn't appropriate.

  • yeah you are an idiot. saddam hussein killed millions. that doesn't mean that we have to fucking declare war on them there's this thing called the UN. the Iraq war is unjust in every way known and is a threat to humanity.

  • i was gratelful to know ya brother,, much love and you in our hearts forever

  • thank you for posting this.<3.

  • is this actually him prior to the suicide or an actor portraying him?

  • Wow...

    Heavy.

  • Has anybody uploaded the actual suicide video? I'll broadcast it on my weekly TV show. Just like the suicide monks got endless TV coverage in the Vietnam Wars.

  • I woke this morning to an article about this on Al Jazeera.

I salute a man who knew what real freedom is. It's not material goods or wealth or even supposed "free speech". I don't think such a blinkered society as the US will ever see that.

  • I am so sad because of your death and the deaths of all these people in war. Thank you for your message which I just watched, it makes me feel a little better. I am inspired to oppose this war and this corrupt administration. May you have peace, may we find peace on Earth.

  • I never forgot, Malachi.

I remember reading about your final act of civil disobedience while still in the army, and realizing how powerful it was.

Then I realized, because of you the power all of us have.

I'm still wrestling with the idea of religion, but the ideals of truth, justice, freedom, and love were immortalized by your final act, and couldn't be clearer if I was shot with a diamond bullet.

I will never forget. This country is ours, not theirs. Rest in peace, brother.

  • this man is an hero

  • it was not invaine

  • amazing!!! Please research Mike Gravel 2008 libertarian presidential candidate... that is what we should do today!!! to hell with democrat and republicans corrupt bastards!

  • He's a real heroic figure of the WAR, I hope he is never forgotten

  • wow, wow, the alltmost way of protesting,,, wow,, we can learn from this and he wants us to learn from this

    much love brother

  • wow

  • Wow. . . If only I had your voiceover in my Malachi statement video.
