@TotalOverdoseGuru I agree great film. Due to the controversy surrounding this film, it didn't receive the recognition that it deserved. A lot of folks weren't open minded enough to see past the physical act to really get this film. I am not gay,but I am open minded. Circumstance brought these two women together, and if their spouses were treating them with love and respect, I don't think they would have gone that far. Ashok was selfish and Jatin just wanted the fantasy of two women, jerk.

I choice this movie 2 do a essay for my Communications class. This wasa good choice because it was controversial. I received an A on my paper because it was a well written script. There were numerous topics 2 discuss. Infidelity, selfishness, lack of choices, just 2 mention a few. A lot of people were just focused on the homosexuality in this movie when there were so many more issues 2 focus on. I think Bollywood movies aren't showing reality , you can't sing and dance ur problems away. Wake up

The chemistry between these two actresses, is breath taking. I am American, if Shabana Azmi and Nandita Das were American actresses, they would be equal with the likes of Myrel Streep and Halle Barry. I recently read that Shabana was having some health complications. I pray for her full recovery and hope she is doing well since then. I would love to meet Shabana one day. She makes all women proud, not just Indian women. I wish I knew her work early on I feel like I am in a time machine.

I love this film, such a beautiful love story. Shabana Azmi is so beautiful to me. I saw her picture of her recently, and she is still hot at 60 years old. I think she is a good actress. I saw her in one other movie with Shirley MacClaine. Nandita Das is sooooooo lucky to have had that intimate kiss with her. Not to say Nadita is not pretty, but there's just something about Shabana that leaves you wondering, she's so mysterious!

I guess because she's an Indian actress, that makes it more of a disgrace? I Shabana said screw all the people that are judging her. She is her own women, and a brilliant actress.
