It's hard to imagine that a team will suceed in Phoenix in the future if it has failed for many years now.

WInnipeg should have built their new arena slightly bigger, that was a mistake.

Realistically what other US cities could successfully house an NHL team? I'm not buying the fact that KC can, Houston has wanted one in the past. Seattle, Portland, Milwauakee,??

Maybe another Golden State Seals? even though i would imagine capturing a fanbase is nearly impossible cuz of San Jose.

KC had a very unsucsessful fanchaise in the late 70's. even with their state of the art arena, idk if a hockey team there is viable because of St Louis.

Seatlle, idk because of vancouver. portland has never shown an interest in hockey. Green bay would be a possibility if they built an arena big enough. hartford might be able to but they too have arena problems and the bruins

All in all, Winnipeg is by far the favorite city because since the jets departure their city has grown in population by about 100,000. the tourist rates have also increased and they are building alot of very attractive tourist sights.

I just read something too saying that also running for them is Las Vegas.
