  • Thanks Sheba, I used the Baked Keema for Paratha's .... it came out really good ....

  • i have a question.....you mention putting the curds out for 3 to 4 hours for the whey to drain away, does the coffee filter have to be changed during this time? thanx...

  • @onoharahigashi - no need to change the coffee filter. You can also use a cheese cloth or any other cloth to drain water. Idea is to drain all the water from yogurt. If you do not drain it there will be too much water when you bake the Keema and it will take for ever to dry it in the oven.

Let me know how it works out for you.

  • VERY WELL EXPLAINED. I WILL REALLY LIKE TO MAKE THIS DISH. SO WELL EXPLAINED. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

  • Salam Sfehmi, can i make it on stove top instead of putting in oven n if so then how it can be done?? also, instead of papaya can i use meat tenderiser n for chickpea can i use roasted besan flour..m sorry too many Q's for u hope u will answer me...Cheers

  • @farahcisco - cooking on stove top will not work - but everything else that you ask for can be substituted.

I have a Keema Stew recipe just in case you want to cook some keema on stove.

  • i never wash ground meat!! this is first time i hear that!!

  • @Esunshine71 - that is fine too.

  • can you please make sheermaal roti....plzz

  • I'm concerned about leaving the meat out for so many hours. From what I could tell you said you drained the meat for 3 hours to get the moisture out - hopefully that was done in the fridge. And then later after mixing the ingredients you said to leave the meat out for 2 or 3 hours again, this time at room temperature. This seems unsafe. The dish looks great though!

  • @skdnow If there is a concern of leaving the meat out you can skip that step and directly put it in the refrigerator.

  • Is the meat mutton?

  • @montaramike doesnt matter

  • @montaramike The meat used was not mutton but you can certatinly use mutton for this dish.

  • Looks very delicious!! Thx for the tips on the yogurt.
