  • It was training for the Olympics .

  • beautiful cage, when I had rabbits I had a large cage but the door was always open and they had the freedom roam the house. They would always go back to their cage to use the bathroom. I had to bunny proof my home though overall It was a nice experience =)

  • My mom won't let me build or make anything for my bunny. :(

  • My mom has 30+ boxes of storage crates I'm not exaggerating its for her daycares she owns so she gave them all to me because she built new shelves

  • Great that you are actually housing your rabbit in a cage that is big enough for him. It's really nice.

The store bought ones are way too small. It'd be similar to a humans having to live in their bedroom room, rather than having the whole house.

I think your rabbit will be very happy!

  • its nice to see that your bunny actually has some space to binky in his cage... unlike most peoples cages they have for their rabbits nowa days... :/

  • The bunny is adorable! He looks like he adores his condo!

  • wow! I would love to make a cage like this for my bunny, but i don't know where to buy it... We don't have Wal-mart here -.-'

  • @xMollyxD Any hardware store should do. They're called storage cubes.

  • @alicet88 Soooo cute & active.....I just recently purchased storage cubes @Target to make a setup similar to yours for my mini lop Mocha but my main concern is it STURDY enough that it won't come down even with the connectors & zipties that I'm also going to use. My Mocha pulls on the grids on her cage & when she's outside her cage she pulls on the gate I use to keep her in a certain area..=:(

  • @xMollyxD You can also get this at Target, or even order it online from any one of these stores. If you can find them, some actually come little circle connectors that you can use to support the bottom of the grid in the corners so that they don't scratch your floor. These connectors each have a cross like slot so that you have several options when connecting the grad paneling. I used this for my adult small bunny to make a long enclosure that's fairly simple, without a top, for easy access.

  • @xMollyxD you could buy them offline!

  • @xMollyxD You can get the storage cubes at bed bath and beyond, wal mart, target, and any hardware stores....hope i helped

  • @xMollyxD bed bath and beyond if u c=have a target or kay-mart but with target the do half the panels small spaces and half big spaces soo be weary of that i learned the hard way lol.

  • @xMollyxD

you can get them from amazon.com - type in wire mesh cubes

  • haha you should give your bunny "outdoor time" to run around as much as he can

  • What do you use for the flooring in the cage? did you litter train him?

  • @nokiagurl65 I put those children's play mats (that you connect like puzzles) and covered it with a sheet. that way I just change the sheet to clean.

He litter trained himself. They're like cats.

  • @alicet88 what are the supplies you bought to build the cage? i getting a new bunny and i want t build mine. thanks!

  • What Is Binkying ?

  • GOD i wish England has PetSmart and Wal-Mart!!!!

  • Happy bunny :D

  • @violettsky6 Wal-Mart. They're called storage cubes. They should be in the organizers' section.

  • @alicet88 Cool I can use my discount card!!

  • @alicet88 umm how do you make the levels?how do the rabbits get up?

  • doesnt any1 no that bunnys/rabbits arent supposed to have a cage/ conda that they have to jump / walk up another level u can break theyr back

  • My little Cinna is getting a bunny Condo. ^^' I hope she is as excited and hyper as that cute little Pancake. (:

  • my rabbit rosie who has a blackpaw and chases u like a dog

pancake can close its own cage ad he/she is cool

  • eather he has probs or u should feed him somthing else he was really hpyer looking in the vid

  • @fairyapokie What's wrong with being hyper? He's a very happy bunny.

  • @alicet88 yes i do think he s a very funny and happy bunny

  • @alicet88 Yes its called binkying. They do it when they're happy

  • @alicet88 that is true..... bunnies can be happy

  • @fairyapokie all bunnies have hyper moments! if they don't you wanna change their feed - they are naturally excitable and flighty! my netherland drawrfs spent like an hour tonight chasing each othr round with crisps packets and leaping up into the air :')

  • @fairyapokie all bunnies r like dat pretty much

  • @fairyapokie What the hell is wrong with being hyper? He got a new house, so he's excited. This is how rabbits express their happiness, by getting hyper like that. Take your ignorance elsewhere

  • how are the upper floors being held? cubes+wood?

    Cheers ;)

  • @coldgus7s Yes, cubes and wood. They're held together using cable ties for more support, but the main supports are the corner round plastic pieces.

  • What do you use for the flooring of the shelves?

  • @MistahG33 plywood

  • hahaha cute

  • my bunny, Tingting, is free-range. she gets the run of the whole house! & uses a litter box. if u feel like it, u should try "bunny-proofing" ur house and try free-range, too! I'm sure ur very active Pancake will love it! :)

  • @TingTingsHere Oh he's always free during the day. This was his first day in his new home, so I wanted him to get used to it before he slept in it that night :)

  • What a cutie!

  • Its Doing a binky!!! Hooray!

  • How do you make a door withought having to unhinge the whole thing?

  • @OpticalGirl8 I held the door on with cable ties so it can easily be opened and closed. I keep it closed with a lock (I held it with clothes clamps at first but he broke right through them...).

    Hope that helps!

  • What kind of bunny is your bunny? will he get a lot bigger?

  • Do rabbits prefer 1 level or split levels?

  • If you can, split level is preferable. They need to jump. The alternative is to let it out as long as possible.

  • great cage and adorible bunny

  • your bunny is binkying that means it's happy in its condo=)

  • cool cage! i wanted to build my bunny a big cage to, but i didn't find the boxes in my country. =(

    where did you buy it?

  • Where do you live?

I got it from Wal-Mart. You can get it at pretty much any hardware store. Just ask for storage cubes.

  • i live in Ljubljana (Slovenia).

  • I know me too. I cant find it anywhere.

I asked ppl and they just look at me like "wat the hell are u looking for" and was directed to the metal wire to build outdoor hutch.

Still i have not been able to find it. =[

  • @LuvMusicx33 You could also try bed bath & beyond if there is one in your area.

  • how many boxes did u need to get..?

  • I don't remember...I think it was 3

  • I just bought some Organize-it's too!! Cheap, like $15 at Target. Just one question, do you think yours is big enough for two?

  • There's plenty of room for a second bunny! If you don't think there isn't, you can always go higher with the levels, that way you don't take up space from your house.

    Good luck! :)

  • Saw your rabbit cubes condo. Great idea! I want to building a cubes for thumper to make a room for him. Where can I get cubes at store? Thanks :)

  • i am also thinking about making a bunny condo how much did it cost you for the wire storage cubes the linolium and the ply wood? pllzz give me an awnser as soon as possible

  • I'm thinking about making a bunny condo, but for the ramps, would you suggest wood or the wire racks covered with carpet? I'm afraid they might pee on the carpet and make it smell horrible. xD

Your bunny looks so happy and content, you are a great bunny owner!

  • I would suggest wood placed over the wire racks. I have a level with carpet; Pancake made a hole in it. If you get cold winters there, they prefer the feeling of a carpet or towel which you can wrap around the wood, but they love to lie down flat on the wood in hot weather!

Hope that helps :) And thanks for the comment!

  • Oh and if it isn't too much to ask, could you make an updated video that shows the whole condo and every floor? :D

That would be very helpful in aiding me when I build one. c:

Course, only when you have the time. ^ w ^

Please give Pancake a greeting from me~! <3

  • where did you bought the cage from?

  • Is he/she a lop rabbit?

  • Maravilhoso !!!! Perfect !!!!

  • Is your cute bunny a standard or dwarf?

  • i know right! :D

  • I'm about to become a bunny-mummy in a week, and this inspires me! The people who I am adopting her from already have hutches and all to give me, but I'm going to expand on it to create something like this wonderful thing!

  • That's really nice of you :) Your bunny's going to love you! And trust me, you can never get enough of bunny love...

  • i know its been a while you got this cage for your bunny but by any chance do you remember how much this cage cost you?

  • It cost me around only $80 :)

  • WOW that cage is perfect for your adorable cute bunny!

    (='.'=)

    (")_(")

  • You are an awesome bunny owner! What a great place for a rabbit to live!

  • i Want a bunny just like yours. yours is cute and funny

    nice condo

  • this cage is awesome!

  • hey cute bunnyz, and cool condo, I was thinking about getting a condo for my bunny and I was wondering if you could tell me how much it costs, if you could tell me it would be greatlly appreciated.

  • the whole "condo" cost me around $80 believe it or not.

    *copying from previous messages*

you can find them in hardware stores..ask for storage cubes. they have at wal-mart too.

assembling's really easy, it comes with corners you hammer on. and just for safety, i also put some cable ties around levels mainly. to keep the door shut i put a locker

oh and for the floor i placed those rubber squares they use for kids and covered it with cloth.

    good luck! :)

  • really? wtf?!!? my bunny's cage was like 200 lol

  • Pancake is one handsome boy!! I love buns. I'm thinking about making one for my girl, Morgan. I love the idea. Cheap, simple, and easy to match with your home decor. I love it! :P

  • when they run back and forth in the cage is that a good thing? i wasnt sure

  • i think so :) he does that every morning when he's excited for me to take him out of his cage

  • Thats one of their ''mad moments'' where they go crazy and do binkies ( jump really high and kick they're legs). Its perfectly normal, and good

  • my bunny looks exactly like yours!:)

  • aww, what kind of bunny? At first I thought it was a Holland Lop, but he doesn't have loppy ears... hm.... :D

  • i think he's a mix of Holland Lop with something else. i don't really know his breed, he was sort of handed down to me lol

  • WOW that cage is perfect for your adorable cute bunny!

    (='.'=)

    (")_(")

  • wow u built that

  • oh thats awesome!!im raising my rabbit in my balcony cuz my mom doesnt ADORE the smell xD

but shes happy with the dresh air n all. Although i think her cage is a bit too small. i heard the larger ones are like over 100 bucks! how much did u get yours for? thanks :)

  • cost me around $80! :D very cheap when you build it yourself

  • do you just use the wire cages as the levels and then layer them with towels or what?

  • towels alone won't do..i placed wood on the wires an towels just to keep it clean. you can use carpet instead of the wood, i just didn't have any at home :)

  • wow what a nice cage :)

    How big is it? x

  • does you bunny use the bathroom in a litter box? I would love to get a condo for my bunny but 'm afraid that He'll use the bathroom on the floor.

  • he uses his litter box until it's time to clean it..s when he poops all over the place it means it's time to clean! lol and when he starts peeing on his sheet it also means it's time to clean the whole cage (every 2-3 weeks) it's great fun to see him jump of joy when i clean though :P

  • cute !

  • I'm jelus of you. Did you get the material at target

  • wal-mart

  • thats cute and your a really really good owner.

but rabbits need hay and straw and newspaper.

i mean they aint exactly like us ya know.

  • he has a basket made of traw with hay in it..and he has cadboard too (paper makes too much of a mess) i also give him wheet grass i grow myself :) he loves it!

  • ok.

sorry dint notice tht but you must spoil your bunny with all this good stuff.

    thats a good thing.

  • aw, i love pancake! hes so cute! where did you get the flooring from? is it just a peice of extra carpet?

  • it's actually those rubber tiles for children covered with a sheet...easy to clean the cage that way

  • Pancake is very cute and happy! I love how he sprints back and forth. You did a nice job with the condo-it's nice to see other people also loving and taking care of these cuties! Can you post another video when he starts jumping to the other levels?

  • he already does jump on the other levels, specially when he sees me coming (cuz he knows i'm gonna take him out) he goes round androun like on a wheel lol

    i'll post a video when i have time :)

  • what kind of rabbit is he/she???

  • you did an amaizing job!!! what a happy bun you have!

  • could you tell me where to get those metal things that you make the condo with, and any advice on how to assemble one?..i'd appreciate any help...suzy in texas

  • you can find them in hardware stores..ask for storage cubes. they have at wal-mart too.

assembling's really easy, it comes with corners you hammer on. and just for safety, i also put some cable ties around levels mainly. to keep the door shut i put a locker (initially i put pins but he'd ram in the door and open it lol)

oh and for the floor i placed those rubber squares they use for kids and covered it with cloth. i wouldn't suggest carpet cuz bunnies love to dig those!

    good luck! :)

  • Wow! Where do you get a bunny like that? I want one. Please tell me. Oh, and how much?

    Very cute :)

  • my brother got it at a pet store..though i'm against "buying" animals from a store..you should go check at a shelter. pancake cost $30..condo cost $80 :D

  • thanx helped a lot :)

  • what's that brown zig zag thing in the back?

  • that's a fence lol i just turned it around and hung it as a seperation..but now it's been removed because the edges were scaring me

  • holy, ive never seen a rabbit that hyper~

  • glad he can get out - does he have any bunny friends?

  • unfortunately no..but i think he thinks his frog is his baby lol

  • If you let him out he will jump although the floor looks slippery

  • oh he does go out all the time! and he loves the slippery floor lol he runs and breaks to slide on the other side

i'm not sure why i left him in the cage for this video though..probably was the first day and i wanted to see if he'd explore before i left him alone in there..

  • that is so cute with the toy! he really loves it!

  • yay! Pancake loves his new condo!

  • He really loves the frog!

  • hehe it's his favorite toy
