I love how through the whole movie they basically bail each other out of close calls. Duke gets Gonzo out of the circus, Gonzo gets the acid-fried Duke out of the hotel lobby ("This man suffers from a bad heart") etc.

One of the best on-screen duos ever. Everyone knows Depp is a great actor but holy shit, Benicio REALLY didn't hold back on this one. Such a good performance!
