  • i get this on GTA IV

  • LOL, so that's what this sound is. I live near a military base and I thought their radar or comms were interfering with my speakers.

  • My brother has a ring tone that's just this noise. It's weird, and yet awesome.

  • Does someone know how to reduce this noise out of a movie?

  • Mine makes the same tone too. You may find this wierd but the noise fizzles when the paper shredder is running, and the speakers pop when I turn on my desk lamp.

  • mine are doing this right now wtfffffff

  • I need this as ringtone!

  • This is weird why does it do this on grand theft auto 4??? when the cell phone ring on the game? lol

  • @korn11000 LOL I noticed that too it's kind-of the same noise as driving through pylons in-game. Maybe it's just trying to be realistic. At least it proves Niko has a GSM phone lol

  • This noise should be my ring tone. Just to confuse everyone.

  • @jytogatewood Thats an awsome idea actually lol Can you download it?

  • If this noise comes i know i get an Message or Call 5 secs. before :P

  • thats interference.. i had that all the time with my old cell phone .. my new one doesnt do that anymore

  • @niecie44

dude, all phones give interference... ?_?

  • Your speaker is not sheilded enough.

better get some new ones b4 you start hearing SSB radio amatur chatter.

Can be fixed /w some iron ferrite rings.

  • @melis256

lol do u mean random people speaking from ya speakers?? if so it's happened to meh twice and i shit the 1st time, they were plugged into my old laptop, i checked it and no programs open were producing it, i then thought it was interference lol, it also happens to one of my friends XD

  • Yeah you can try this in any country, with any phone or (almost) any speakers, you'll get the exact same result. To get rid of this you need to either put your phone away or buy specific speakers.

  • welcome to the world of radio frequencies! nothing new, just stuff thats been discovered in the early 1900's..... everyones amazed by this because it shows how low their intelligence is of the understanding of science

  • My phone does the same thing. And it's the same noise that was on your speaker.

  • but my problem is different, i can hear american people talking trough my laptop but i'm from belgium

  • @cerpus

it's the same thing as he gets, but radio comunications, i heard random people talking also, idk where they were from though

  • i had same problem its scary

  • If you want ideas about eliminating this noise you can search for 'How to Stop the Annoying Speaker Buzz From Your GSM Cell'. You can for example place the cell phone in an electrostatic bag (like the ones you get your HDD in if you buy it separate from the PC).

  • I always know when a call is coming with that

  • my iPhone 3GS does the same thing Xx

  • my tv does that

  • Doesn't work with my Motorola Razor.

Tried on all speakers in the house.

  • if a cell phone recieves a call, and if it's near a speaker, it makes that noise.

  • troll

    fail

  • if you put a cell phone near any speaker it will do that. :(

  • lol i love this idk about you guys but it tells me when im about to get a text message. its like telling the future or something. truely magic.

  • What so wrong about this noise?

  • it hets VERY annoying

  • lol.........

  • Cell phones are still caveman. The noise emitted from 3g phones is just sad. Cell phones are primitive junk.

  • CAN THIS NOISE BE FIXED?

Can't the engineers who always come up with a way to cram yet another useless feature onto a cell phone instead focus their efforts on reducing this noise?

Any speaker near my phone goes nuts if I'm making a call or if it's registering.

It's especially annoying when I am trying to go to sleep and it gets the speaker on my alarm clock?

If I put it too far away, I have to get up if I get a call.

  • ur supposed to get choke cores from ur local radio shack

  • I Nominate you! To fix this.

  • i remember there was some type of thing you could get on ebay...but i forgot the name of it

  • how i hate that sound is unexplainable...

  • my samsung t219 makes the same exact sound when it is next to my computer speakers. ur not alone, lol

  • all phones do it

  • Not all phones. It's weird. My old phone never did it. ...but it was REALLY old. (One of the heavy duty ones.)

I just got this new phone and it kept making the noise everytime I recieved/sent a message near the computer. With my old one it never did this.

  • most verizon phones dont

  • My Sidekick LX never did this for the first 3 months. Then it started making that sound, but very faint, mostly on my 2.1 Altec Lansing setup. For the past 3 weeks though the sound is really loud, like 5 levels higher than what the volume should be, and it even gets triggered when my phone is 5 feet away from the speakers..

  • Recent cell phones (without a rod on the top) do not radiate as much microwaves to your brain as they do into the air. They send waves to the opposite direction. Try turning around your cell.

  • You know what, i was texting a friend and a cop car pulled up next to me cos it was a stop light and i heard that same sound coming out of his Siren Speakers, LOL :D

" du, dududud, du du du, d,d,d,d, LOL

  • im pretty sure its illegal to text while driving

  • @EdmDude

sirens dont have speakers, if they were speakers they would blow instantly, but i might try that next time i see a police car parked, just run up 2 it, grab my phone, pop onto the internet and then reck everyones ears >:D

  • This only happens if you're using GSM phones and only when you connect a call or use EDGE/3G data transfer. Something to do with the fact that transmission power is raised to around 2 watts.

  • Same thing happens to with my land line phone. Wireless. I don't know if it happens with my cell....

  • It's amazing how many people are shocked by this occurrence. And it's even more amazing that some people have never heard this buzz. And that's because the people that hear the buzz have GSM phones from AT&T or T-Mobile. If you're with Verizon, Sprint or Alltel, you will never here this buzz because they use CDMA. CDMA not only doesn't buzz, it sounds better than GSM!

  • Watch the video "Cellphone Speaker Buzz Solution" its about a product that gets rid of that annoying buzzing completly

  • my shit does the same thing its what i think itercepting a call or a text cuz every time i sit my phone next to my piano it hangs it up and i lose all my bars

  • i hate that f*n noise

  • Possible solution for desktop users: I pushed a 3.5" by 3.5" of packing styrofoam thats 1/2" thick into an antistatic bag from a 3.5" harddrive. Trimmed the bag & presto! When I sit my Blackberry on it no more noise! Looks kind of like a "Blackberry Coaster."

  • Check the song/video "Askepios" by The Mars Volta. It has a "musical" application to this kind of noise.

  • HA! i remeber that, that happend at a disco once! lol.

  • Only phones that use TDMA based technologies like GSM and iDEN because of the time division multiplexing. Technologies like CDMA and 3G UMTS don't do this.

  • Cell phones put out low-energy radio waves that don't interact with human bodies since the wavelength is greater than 1 meter.

  • pretty much every phone does that

  • it happens with every speaker

    even with the TV

  • my god...

  • It's just minor electromagnetic interference. You don't have to worry about it doing anything to your brain.

  • And you are so sure?

  • Yeah, I looked it up on Google.

  • Well, great for you.

Now some scientists say that they are harmful.

I'm not a scientists to say, but I'm a future audio engineer to tell:

    They are waves.

Keep that in mind the next time.

  • Google never lies. I am 100% right. I am so serious right now.

  • I am so not being sarcastic with this or my original post by the way.

  • Er, rather the post after my first post. The one about Google. Anyway, you get the point.

  • lol sorry, forgot to put on my sarcasm-g00gles ^_^

  • Yeah this has happened to me with certain phones.

  • lol i just tried it with tmobile sidekick 3...and i heard the noise on my speakers but not as loud as dat.

  • nothng new

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!! I have been wondering if it was that or not!! lmao!

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!! I have been wondering if it was that or not!! lmao!

  • dude havn u realised thats its the celphones signal interferance. jus dont go near ur comp wit ur fone if u cant put up wit it. try havn a intercom system in ur house and leaving it up full ball, its scares the crap outta me sumtimes wen im asleep

  • sooooo intresting watch my videos there more better

  • hey that happends to my altec lansing vs 2221 tooo lol its so nooying

  • That happens to me all the time, It comes from the GSM signal (analog/digital) that t-mobile and singular use.

  • I figured it was something along those lines, either way, hurts my ears. @O_O;@
