  • The only word to describe this track in my opinion is .................CLASSIC.

  • If you want this kind of Hiphop now, check out Underground Hiphop! Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Large Professor, Marley Marl, Pete Rock, Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, DJ Premier, Craig G, ED OG etc, all still do their thing making new music! Props on the vid! peace

  • Imagine yourselves listening to this song at night, walking in the N.Y streets at night with your Warriors movie style gang \m/

  • let's no loose sight of the fact that this is nearly 30 years old now!!! 30! fuck where did 30 years go?

  • This tune is boombastic Fantastic !! Back when Hip Hop was hip Hop and Rap music was rap music not "Bling bling, hoes, bitches, drugs, violent, hate, cars with big rimz" <<----- all bullcrap.

Davy D Rock This Beat Coz It's So fresh !!

  • no kidding after watching this I had to get out my chair and see if I could do some floor work & a back spin! Very cool!

  • just one word...........................cool

  • Str8 up old school dopeness!

  • First of all, one of my fave scenes from Wild Style is Crazy Legs gettin loose at the Ampitheatre jam....check the crowd reaction at 5:45 when he comes out of his backspin and drags himself across the floor for a second. His boys bug out on it. THAT is the energy that hip hop brought back in the early 80's.

Secondly, I went to a RUN DMC show at the Spectrum in Philly in the mid-80's and Davy DMX was on the bill and did ONE song....when the beat dropped the whole place went fucking bonkers!

  • Tumbs up..wow.. many tears in my eyes..wont forget those times.. never!!!!!

  • This was before hip hop was all super fucking egotistical.

  • Was that Sammy Davis Jr. killin it at the end? F R E S H!

  • the best of times!

  • anyone know what movie that is from at 1:00 ?

  • still fresh !!!

  • this cut was very different and unique. a true hip hop classic

  • isso é ser originalllllllllllssss

  • This brings tears to my eyes!!!! Hip hop forever!!!

  • Wow is all I can say!!!! Nice job with the video. This brings back so many memories, I wish I had a time machine so I could go back. I was in the midst of this great hip hop era. Damn what fun times they were.

Not to many Djs cut and scratch anymore. I miss Red Alert and Chuck Chillout on the 1's and 2's. Lets pray none of these wack ass rappers sample this jam, and fuck it up.

  • @Blu1914Phi What would be good is if some dumbass used the tune for a ad or trailer. Then maybe it would make a comeback on the itunes download chart and educate these PC DJ's. Bring back the real Turntablists. B-)

  • Tru Hip Hop

  • wicked tune, find it on dj shadow product placement breaks

  • 02:00 hahaha the guy lost his shoe, thats great :D

  • Thanks ... "Peace to ALL the originals" !

  • Old School breaking is better than new school. There are toooo many people who dont bring out soul or funk when they break.

  • I bet this tune is going to be stolen some day as well as other huge hits in the 70's and 80's. Probably by some rapper who makes it into a "song" about him being rich, bangin' hoes and kicking everyone's ***.

  • @SoothingSound ...I doubt it. Highly doubt it, even.

The best time for that to have happened would've been the mid-to-late '90s, when '80s songs were being sampled by rappers like crazy...

  • @Entropy161 The only time I remember this beat being used was for a Jody Watley remix of "Off The Hook" in 1997. Other than that it's untouched.

  • @djkrushinphx this has ben samp`d in a couple of the hip hop on wax series..but all those joints were made w/ samps...

  • @djkrushinphx and remember dmx samp`d sucker mc`s on this..

  • @SoothingSound I agree. Music, like everything else is about the individual today, not about the group, good times or creating radical ideas. People are too caught in material goods where they reside alone in their homes, so they don't need to challenge anything cause they're happy, numb and don't need to think. Governments and corporations fear people getting together and congregating because that can cause change, but the only kind of change they like is the kind that goes in their coffers!!!

  • @SoothingSound too late mate search mysterejones one 4 da treble

copy & paste at the end of utube dot com/ watch?v=dgsE565xT8I

  • i want see the bass cover
