So he knows what he's doing? Gotta say I don't agree with that. All the gear and no idea. A menace and will one day appear in an incident report as a rebreather fataility, when actually it's not going to have anything to do with the Inspiration. Stay out of the water JC, for your own sake, if this is a typical display of your technique.
woah im not a very experienced diver but god i wonder who trained you, you buoyancy is all over the shot and your clumsy dangling computers make me feel embarrassed, i really hopy you dont go reef diving or you will damage it all :(
Nets underwater a huge hazard. I appreciate the fact that his diver has allowed this footage to be posted. Stuff does happen even if you are diving DIR, or diving as clean as possible. In my experience I have seen total screw-ups caused by both DIR divers and Christmas-tree divers.
I will state that whenever possible I never let myself rest on anything that can catch my gear. Being neutral is a great thing.
Oh deary deary me Jeff....Steel bailout cylinder,Hellish custom divers scooter, bits and bobs hanging off like a christmas tree and all topped off with a yellow box of death....And whatever your END was it's no way shallow enough..Scootering into nets and line is just a sign you're not bloody watching what you're doing and at 130m thats nothing to be laughing at.
Methinks a little less christmas tree impressions and a little more training in the dark arts of DIR are what you need....
one thing i've learned with experience, is that, it is not a matter of what, it is a matter of when. things happen. it is how you deal with problems once they happen that show experience. ever been tangled in fishing line? it is a nightmare.
The voice sounds high pitched because they are probably breathing trimix (includes Helium) to avoid Nitrogen narcosis. I seriously doubt these guys are screwing around on this type of dive with this gear narced.
This clip is very funny, indeed! Though he's a technical diver. A professional, so I don't think he needs any lessons on how to dive...
Anyway, what makes him laugh (or the one holding the camera) and being out of control, is probably just because he is intoxicated. I believe that lower than 30 meters you become intoxicated by the nitrogen. It's just like you've been drinking alcohol!
Though I'm just a recreational diver, I have no idea how it is when you're tech diving.

Hauling around all those tanks doesn't look like much fun. If this is your job then I understand, but if this is for fun then I just don't get it.

This guy doesn't need to learn to dive. He's at 130m, getting tangled and he doesn't care! Well funny. I look forward to the next one!
