@FlynnRider4 What you say makes sense, but Dante appears to get about a yard into the end zone prior to being tackled.

@hallpriest9 I don't really know how to explain it but I think you have to walk in for several yards before it counts. You definitely have to be standing, I dont know why the game creators did it that why. Bugged the heck out of me and it seem to hurt the AI more than the player.

@Zeebof This is Football 2002. If you have the one without the scrolling, you have the 1999 version. If you have the one where they're on a table, that's Football 2004. If you scroll left and right to pick them, that's the Gamecube version.

@whalez1995 Actually, I liked this one better, mainly because the difficulty actually affected the AI and not just the speed of the game. The playbook editor was also a lot better, kicking was improved, and they actually balanced the pros with the Backyard Kids. The '99 version just wasn't as enjoyable to me.

that brings me good memories back when i played it 9 or 10 years ago. i'm tryin to find it where it is but i still have backyard football 2002 and its probably somewhere hiding in my basement but it will probably show up somewhere in my basement. its a really fun computer game i enjoyed it back then and i'm sure i still enjoy it if i ever find it

@legoking831 No in the PS2/Gamecube version if you hit a guy with Invincible Run you get slowed down. I don't use that powerup often.

@chuggaaconroyfan2010 Actually, that isn't for playing over the internet. You have to have two computers using the same wireless router. The game runs discless if you choose full install though, so don't worry about needing two copies. I have never tried this myself, but I could if I ever get bored enough.

my team is pablo, T.D., ricky williams , the other ricky kid whoi can kick, drew bledsoe, keisha, junior, and i score and average of 80-100 pionts a game and i havnt lost threw 4 seasons so you can easly get an allstar team without using cheats or whatwever

No where close to as good as the original game

@CsopPictures Actually, I thought this one was way better. For one, the difficulty didn't just affect the speed of the game; it also affected the AI. The original only made the game faster, but the AI was not affected in any way. I also liked the faster pace, the fact you could lob or zing a pass, how kicking had strategy, the more customizable plays, the better default playbook, the option of fatigue, and how the pros are more balanced with the Backyard Kids rather than being game breakers.

@CsopPictures Oh, it's WAY more than just that. Most will say that 2007 is where it really started to blow. They turned everybody into teenagers, removed thirteen of the original 30 characters, they have no personality (Pablo speaks NO SPANISH in those games), the controls are terrible, the games are glitchy, and are very lazily made (for instance, everybody is just called he or she instead of by their names). It only got worse on Sandlot Sluggers and Rookie Rush.

@legoking831 I refuse to buy any of the new games cause of how much they are like madden, nit even like a good graphic madden more like madden 2004. and you always throw interceptions cause you can't see down field then they have the nerve to add a "classic view" that looks exactly like view that game started with and the AI is practically unbeatable with it's precision passes and always perfect in power and on target field goals from the 50
