I finally convince my sister to watch an episode of this usually exellent series and it's this totally dull ep about r-2 and 3-PO getting kidnapped by Bane with a stupid chatty script built around 3-PO's inane and insipid banter. She tuned out halfway through and thinks I'm crazy for liking this "childish rubbish"
why does lucas think the clone wars are more interesting then the rebels and empire wars? everyone loves the rebels VS empire, not this clone crap. i want the original stormtroopers honestly, and rebels. maybe its because lucas got tired of 25 years of just empire vs rebels and wanted to do something different.
I preffer old Tartakovsky's clone wars cartoon for three reasons:
1. The animation is too slow.
2. Climate is infantile.
3. Too much clonewars for 3 years.
It was made that way so that younger fans could follow up. However, it would be much better, if the events of the series took place between I and II episode. It's 10 years of nothing, and i would agree with this whole childishness if it was about the adventures of young Anakin growing up and becoming a Jedi.
Their is 3 reasons i dont like this show. 1 the battle's are much to small I mean their is more excitment in the few seconds of the battles in Episode 3 than in one episode of this, 2 grevious sucks which pisses me off because in the old 2003 series grevious kicked the asses of 6 jedi by his own and 2 of them being masters, in this he cant even kill a fuckin gungan, and 3 the story doesnt even fit into the timeline of the movies, the 2003 series explains alot during the blanks between 2nd-3rd.
@EmkobAllianceForce1 The 2003 series was intentionally over-exaggerated so you can't base someones power on that. The Grievous in this show is in line with his portrayal in Episode III, and he killed four Gungans all of which got to close to him. It took literally the entire Gungan army to take him down. The season 4 battles are bigger than past seasons and are almost as big as the ones seen in the live action films. And series does fit in with the timeline of the films.
@472Colin intentionally over exagerated or not grevous still fought and beat kiadi mundi, shaak ti, Ayala secura, and many more jedi at once and the battlesstill arent as cool as i want them to be.
@Joevictor53 what movie are you watching?The saber battles in the orginal trilogy sucked compared to the prequel.I agree on the Lightsabers though those have always been awesome.
I think it would be kind of cool to see some more stuff from the expanded universe, like maybe some ship blue-prints for Tyber Zanns fleet, or something. I wish they had some kind of tank battle. Kind of like a Star Wars Battle of the Bulge you know, with a bunch of TX-130s and AATs and stuff that would be great.
I'm So sad about Wullfe Yualran, I found him one of my favriote chacters in the series and i find out he joins the Empire and Dies on the first Death Star, Such asahme.
I bet anakins apprentice dies in the end, because she isn't in the "revenge of the sith". (the tv show takes place between movies 2 & 3, if you don't know)
@CrocodilusPontifex LOL that's the thing though, the difference was the the Storm Troopers and Rebels didn't "duke it out" like the clones and droids did. The Rebellion was actually pretty small at first, and even at full size they were easily out numbered. So unless you want to see the "American Revolutionary war" then u are stuck with clones and droids. Personally i think they should go before time. Back when Jedi and Sith was actually a huge threat.
@ComrnanderShepard I'm really looking forward to the live action tv series because its going to focus on characters like Jabba, Bib Fortuna and Boba Fett. Lucas is working on another tv series called star wars detours so I wonder what that will be about.
@CrocodilusPontifex I know what you mean. In the original trilogy, it was just about the war between the Rebels and Empire. In this, they have all this politcal stuff and there have only been a few good fights I have seen like the Malevalence.

If I were to write the star wars prequels, this is what I would have done. Clones are big ugly cloned monster warriors. The dark lord of the sith and the separatists secretly create the clones and send them to attack the republic. Millions of men are forced to become soldiers and help the Jedi to fight the clones. Millions die and the republic is shattered. The Jedi defeat the clones but the emperor turns the republic into an empire and turns soldiers into storm troopers to wipe out the Jedi.
So if all troopers are clones then are all storm troopers clones? They weren't, they wer just men in white uniforms, so was the empire vs reebllion jsut clones against rebels, and the clone wars just clones against droids, why didn't they call the clone wars "the droid wars". Why doesn't the republic have any droids anyway?

@CellthePhone same here, buddy, same here, they made the evil characters weak i mean, WTF? evil characters must appear to be unstoppable so that the audience can feel the tension build up on their final battles against the Jedi. it's good that the comics about the Star Wars universe are good (specially Legacy, Cade Skywalker makes Luke look like a weak padawan)

well the death of ben kenobi in the original trilogy isn´t the best scene you know o.o not to say that the lightsabers on episode IV looked kind of cheap xD acting was pretty cool :3 except for the duels with lightsabers xP

@shinobumoritasama No they didn't suck. Look at the space battles. Years ahead of their time. The scenes with the AT-AT and AT-ST were also pretty awesome. The lightsabers looked cheap? It was 34 years ago. People still thought they were cool. And the lightsaber duels of the original trilogy were so much better. They actually looked like two people fighting for the lives instead of the Prequel Trilogy where it just looks like a couple of prancing morons trying to hit each other with sticks

I thought season 3 was a lot better than season 2 because we had some episodes where the bad guys won and even if the bad guys lost they would still take a jedi down with them. I've not read much about season 4 because I don't want any spoilers but I can't wait for season 4. I've heard season 4 is going to show us more of the actual war so I'm hoping we will get to see some more separatist leaders and wins for the CIS.
@CellthePhone Same, season 4 will be quite action packed by the sound of things. I hope we get some more powerful villains that don't get killed off. So far the main villains are dooku (as a background villain most of the time), grievous, ventress, bane, aura sing and savage who was the only powerful new villain in season 3 who survived. I hope we get some episodes that focus on the battle droids as well.
@SafeLadere09 yeah agreed but however i dont think on battle drioids i think on better driods like the IG-88 missions and sh$3 i really think that would be nice. Also missions for the Main War for the CIS that would be nice to to see their side of things. Along with seeing how Ventress finally get her butt kicked by anakin that would be werid. I also want to see how the battle for few of the CIS planets will workout to. I like to see the CIS invade and be successful aswell for this show.
@CellthePhone I like IG-88 was he around during the clone wars? If so they should bring him in to this show. I like the IG-86 droids they are cool. I like the magna guards and commando droids as well. I hope they do some episodes that focus on the seps in season 4. I want episodes that focus on the villains like they did on season 3 with Ventress and Cad bane. I reckon it would be really cool if they did prequel episodes showing some of the CIS wins that have been mentioned in the newsreels

I'm annoyed that the star wars live action tv series is on hold because that was going to show jabba and bounty hunters and characters like that. I hope in season 4 we get some jail break episodes I want to see bossk and wat tambor again.

@CellthePhone Yeah lol it sucks that Bossk got captured I was hoping we would see him in action. The only bounty hunters that are a threat on this show are Cad Bane and Aura Sing. We didn't get much bounty hunter action in season 3 apart from those 2 and Robonino and Chata Hyoki. I hope we get some more powerful bounty hunters this season. They should bring 4LOM and Zuckuss in to this show.

@CellthePhone I want to see a lot of separatist wins this season as we are seeing a lot more of the war. I want some more episodes that don't focus on anakin, obi wan and ahsoka because when there around the good guys normally win. Most of the other jedi don't achieve much.
@CellthePhone I doubt they will kill of ahsoka for a while as she is one of the main characters but towards the end of the show there is a good chance she will get killed off. It might be dooku or grievous that kill her. I thought it was good on the episode heroes on both sides where ahsoka actually saw things from the seps point of view anakin wasn't pleased about that.
@CellthePhone lol one thing I don't get about star wars is that obi wan and grievous fight all the time on this show so why would the jedi council send obi wan to kill grievous on ep 3 when he has failed so many times before to kill grievous.

@SafeLadere09 yeah that maybe true. However, i do think if the 3rd movie showed anything on how grievous was from the old cartoon. Obi would of never won. I mean Grievous really messed up alot of jedi and even managed to take on 1 Council member 2 masters/knights 3 padwans. All at the same time lol so idk i think the 3rd movie really pissed me off on that fight, and how Obi won.
@CellthePhone It was annoying how grievous lost on ep 3 and we never saw that much of the fight either. The only explanation I can think of is that grievous was weakened from when mace windu force crushed him on the old show.
@CellthePhone Yeah I've got lego star wars 3 and I like it. After you complete the game you can battle republic forces and reclaim all planets for the CIS which is pretty good.

@CellthePhone Yeah you should get it. Well yeah the battles where you take over the planets are just massive straight up battles but its amazing how many enemies they can get on screen. Like there is one mission where you play as wat tambor on ryloth and you get to own all the republic forces and you get the droids army to help you as well. The battles on it are really good.
@SafeLadere09 k those are the ones i like i love big battles where its just lets shoot the crap out of each other lol. However, i do not like to control forces i rather prefer a small squad or myself lol and watch them go at it, unless im sick of losing lol XD
@CellthePhone Lol you don't have to control the droids they just fight the clones anyway but if your finding something a bit hard you can get the droids to help you out. The battles on it are really good you should look up some footage.

@CellthePhone I think it was rune haako on attack of the clones, but they lost his costume after the phantom menace so that's why he looked different. Just type in lego star wars 3 ground battles and you will get to see what the battles are like.

I also want to see more bounty hunters being successful because so far its been like Cad Bane is the only bounty hunter that can do some damage. It would also be nice to see some more of Dooku's dark acolytes. What do you want to see this season?

@CellthePhone Yeah we didn't get many large battles in season 3 but this season should make up for it. One of my favorite episodes of season 3 was Supply lines with Master Di because we saw the separatists get a victory and take over Ryloth. I want more episodes like that with unknown Jedi and less focus on main characters like Anakin and Ahsoka. We also need episodes that show things from the separatists point of view.
@SafeLadere09 agreed. also i wish they didnt make the seps act like douches either. Season 4 u will begin to like a little more. Otherwise though i wish there were same other changes. Such as unknown CIS commanders and such along with Unknown Jedi as u stated. However, i wish they brought more sense of thought to the CIS attacks lol.
@CellthePhone Normally the bad guys win a bit at first but then the good guys come up with a really cool plan and end up winning. I want to see episodes that are the other way around and I want to see the separatists come up with some cool strategies to win for once. I agree we need more unknown separatist commanders that win because so far most of them have been just been cowards that hide behind droids we need more villains that can fight jedi.

If I were to write the star wars prequels, this is what I would have done. Clones are big ugly cloned monster warriors. The dark lord of the sith and the separatists secretly create the clones and send them to attack the republic. Millions of men are forced to become soldiers and help the Jedi to fight the clones. Millions die and the republic is shattered. The Jedi defeat the clones but the emperor turns the republic into an empire and turns soldiers into storm troopers to wipe out the Jedi.

So if all troopers are clones then are all storm troopers clones? They weren't, they wer just men in white uniforms, so was the empire vs reebllion jsut clones against rebels, and the clone wars just clones against droids, why didn't they call the clone wars "the droid wars". Why doesn't the republic have any droids anyway?

@CellthePhone same here, buddy, same here, they made the evil characters weak i mean, WTF? evil characters must appear to be unstoppable so that the audience can feel the tension build up on their final battles against the Jedi. it's good that the comics about the Star Wars universe are good (specially Legacy, Cade Skywalker makes Luke look like a weak padawan)

@shinobumoritasama No they didn't suck. Look at the space battles. Years ahead of their time. The scenes with the AT-AT and AT-ST were also pretty awesome. The lightsabers looked cheap? It was 34 years ago. People still thought they were cool. And the lightsaber duels of the original trilogy were so much better. They actually looked like two people fighting for the lives instead of the Prequel Trilogy where it just looks like a couple of prancing morons trying to hit each other with sticks

I thought season 3 was a lot better than season 2 because we had some episodes where the bad guys won and even if the bad guys lost they would still take a jedi down with them. I've not read much about season 4 because I don't want any spoilers but I can't wait for season 4. I've heard season 4 is going to show us more of the actual war so I'm hoping we will get to see some more separatist leaders and wins for the CIS.

@CellthePhone Same, season 4 will be quite action packed by the sound of things. I hope we get some more powerful villains that don't get killed off. So far the main villains are dooku (as a background villain most of the time), grievous, ventress, bane, aura sing and savage who was the only powerful new villain in season 3 who survived. I hope we get some episodes that focus on the battle droids as well.

@SafeLadere09 yeah agreed but however i dont think on battle drioids i think on better driods like the IG-88 missions and sh$3 i really think that would be nice. Also missions for the Main War for the CIS that would be nice to to see their side of things. Along with seeing how Ventress finally get her butt kicked by anakin that would be werid. I also want to see how the battle for few of the CIS planets will workout to. I like to see the CIS invade and be successful aswell for this show.

@CellthePhone I like IG-88 was he around during the clone wars? If so they should bring him in to this show. I like the IG-86 droids they are cool. I like the magna guards and commando droids as well. I hope they do some episodes that focus on the seps in season 4. I want episodes that focus on the villains like they did on season 3 with Ventress and Cad bane. I reckon it would be really cool if they did prequel episodes showing some of the CIS wins that have been mentioned in the newsreels

I'm annoyed that the star wars live action tv series is on hold because that was going to show jabba and bounty hunters and characters like that. I hope in season 4 we get some jail break episodes I want to see bossk and wat tambor again.

@CellthePhone Yeah lol it sucks that Bossk got captured I was hoping we would see him in action. The only bounty hunters that are a threat on this show are Cad Bane and Aura Sing. We didn't get much bounty hunter action in season 3 apart from those 2 and Robonino and Chata Hyoki. I hope we get some more powerful bounty hunters this season. They should bring 4LOM and Zuckuss in to this show.

@CellthePhone I doubt they will kill of ahsoka for a while as she is one of the main characters but towards the end of the show there is a good chance she will get killed off. It might be dooku or grievous that kill her. I thought it was good on the episode heroes on both sides where ahsoka actually saw things from the seps point of view anakin wasn't pleased about that.

I mean Grievous really messed up alot of jedi and even managed to take on 1 Council member 2 masters/knights 3 padwans. All at the same time lol so idk i think the 3rd movie really pissed me off on that fight, and how Obi won.

@CellthePhone It was annoying how grievous lost on ep 3 and we never saw that much of the fight either. The only explanation I can think of is that grievous was weakened from when mace windu force crushed him on the old show.

@CellthePhone Yeah I've got lego star wars 3 and I like it. After you complete the game you can battle republic forces and reclaim all planets for the CIS which is pretty good.

@CellthePhone Yeah you should get it. Well yeah the battles where you take over the planets are just massive straight up battles but its amazing how many enemies they can get on screen. Like there is one mission where you play as wat tambor on ryloth and you get to own all the republic forces and you get the droids army to help you as well. The battles on it are really good.

@CellthePhone Lol you don't have to control the droids they just fight the clones anyway but if your finding something a bit hard you can get the droids to help you out. The battles on it are really good you should look up some footage.

I'm hoping they will bring in rune haako at some point I have a feeling he hasn't been on because there was a mix up on attack of the clones.

@CellthePhone I think it was rune haako on attack of the clones, but they lost his costume after the phantom menace so that's why he looked different. Just type in lego star wars 3 ground battles and you will get to see what the battles are like.

I also want to see more bounty hunters being successful because so far its been like Cad Bane is the only bounty hunter that can do some damage. @CellthePhone Yeah we didn't get many large battles in season 3 but this season should make up for it. One of my favorite episodes of season 3 was Supply lines with Master Di because we saw the separatists get a victory and take over Ryloth. I want more episodes like that with unknown Jedi and less focus on main characters like Anakin and Ahsoka. We also need episodes that show things from the separatists point of view.

Such as unknown CIS commanders and such along with Unknown Jedi as u stated. However, i wish they brought more sense of thought to the CIS attacks lol.

@CellthePhone Normally the bad guys win a bit at first but then the good guys come up with a really cool plan and end up winning. I want to see episodes that are the other way around and I want to see the separatists come up with some cool strategies to win for once. I agree we need more unknown separatist commanders that win because so far most of them have been just been cowards that hide behind droids we need more villains that can fight jedi.
