You guys need a USB flash drive in order to put your files from what ever you have and copy all the files and paste them to USB and then when you got windows vista just paste it to the desktop and there you got the files hope this help

Ok, I just spent 45$ on an XP to Vista Upgrade and it wont work! I put the disk in and I can hear my computer spinning it. It goes really fast, then stops. It repeats itself like 5 times then just completely stops. The is no window popping up. I tried going to Computer and checking Drive D which is my CD/DVD area. It just wont work. Any Ideas or help? Please. I am going to be upset if I wasted 45$. The product code does indeed work though.

hey guys installing vista over xp is a horrible idea, your gonna get all kinds of problems during you have it. You all want it because of the transparent and the sidebar. I got this operating system and i'm ashamed of myself. It is horrible. Like alot of videos I go to for example I want to download something: Windows XP only, windows vista not capable. This video is good and helpful but stay with your xp it's alot better and even watch some videos about vista vs xp

Even tho you can't access your media that your xbox has you should just look up a tutorial on youtube that will help you with this problem. Trust me it's easy! I had problems with xp(when I still had it), I just looked up videos, did a little "Changing Settings" and then everything worked. I never upgraded, vista came with my pc. i just downloaded vista setup from net. it was only 80 MB but when i extracted it, that became a huge more than 2GB. so i ran the setup. but when i click on Install Now it says Windows is unable to create the installation folder. Since I have been in the IT business for some 20 years (service, hardware, software, networks, servers, etc.), I will give my humble opinion on VISTA: it did suck in the beginning because, as with every MS OS, it came out uncomplete, but there are some points that give credit to VISTA: MUCH better memory usage (tested!). I am still not using VISTA privately but, since recently I had to buy new hardware (the old PC died), I tried VISTA and it works MUCH faster than my XP OS.
