My high school just established their own quidditch team, and though I find the whole thing ridiculous and stupid, yes I did join. But only for the sake of comedy. I can't wait to see myself run around a field with a broom in between my legs, hitting people with dodgeballs (I signed up for beater).
I say, as long as you do it for laughs and fun, all is well.
It's when you start adding this on your resumé and crying and getting mad at your team mates that you should just...no.
