  • i did this recipe and my family and friends loved it, even my son and he is super picky. LOVE LOVE LOVE only bad thing is our apt stll smells like curry a week later... oh well its worth it

  • @sookie112806 Try sitting a medium bowl of white vinegar on the counter after you cook. Leave it there and fill it up every so often and it should eliminate the food smells in your house. I've done this a few times and it really helped.

  • This looks incredible...and easy enough for me to do...

  • That looks soooo delicious, can't wait to try it

  • Can you marinate chicken over night, or will 8hours be the max. ???

  • Those thighs looked so goooood!

  • could i use chicken legs, wings instead ? not a big thigh eater....loveeee your vids tho my hubby thanks you for teaching me lmao

  • Hi Monique, I don't have a grill pan so I will bake instead. How long should I bake this dsh?

  • My son & I made this last night along w/ Chef John's root vegetable gratin. We grilled the chicken thighs, but I could not find the boneless thighs so it took a little longer on the grill. I had to triple the recipe( two boys over 6 ft) and I don't think I added enough curry. I was running low, but I will add more the next time. There will be a next time. You are such a wonder with being so young and loving this thing called cooking. Also, I boiled the marinade to baste the chicken.THANK U

  • Made this yesterday and it's actually pretty good! Thx for sharing!!

  • Is the grey poupon like mustard?

  • My thighs are marinating to be cooked tomorrow. I tasted the marinade before adding the meat....tastes great. They are going to be delish.

Thank you for sharing your recipe

  • Is it ok if I don't add the mustard? I really don't like the taste of mustard!!

  • can you make a shrimp alfredo recipe and congarats i will be watching the show :)

  • I just got done cooking this dish (I baked mine, marinated them overnight, and made extra sauce to bake them in today) and they came out absolutely delicious......so yummy & tender. I made your mashed potatoes as well (only thing I did different with those was that I added in roasted garlic). Love your channel and your blog :)

  • TONIGHT's DINNER!!!! THANKS

  • Monique girlll...you do not kno wat you did to me! i had planned on makin curry for lunch so when i saw this i was really excited. So lastnight I went to the supermarket got all the ingredients and prepared the chicken. Today i cooked it, i didnt grill it though but OMG this came out soooo good!!! My tummy and my taste buds are totally loving me right now! thanks! :D

  • I love ALL of your cooking videos! The ingredients seem practical and your personality is pleasant! Thank you!

  • I tried this recipe for dinner tonight, but instead I baked it. Fabolous!

  • @divascancook do you have a tried and true jerk chicken recipe?

  • That chicken looked so good.

  • this looks awesome, and i will definitely be trying this, just one thing monique, it is unsafe to baste the cooked chicken with the marinating liquid, b/c you put the raw chicken in it, then you put it on cooked chicken.

but, this sounds sooo yum! thank you

  • @chillytoes1 I added a note to my blog on basting with raw meat marinades. (I actually meant to add it to the video before I uploaded it.) It can be done safely. For those who are not comfortable with it, then just set aside a small amount of marinade before adding the raw chicken. This recipe really doesn't need basting though. The sauce is pretty thick and clingy.

  • @divascancook I have to disagree with your comment. It is cross-contamination to baste the chicken with the marinade after it had the raw chicken in it. Not safe at all.

  • @cocobrownallaround If you are basting the chicken with the leftover marinade it is safe if you are baking it in the oven, because it has time to cook and the heat will kill any bacteria from the marinade.

  • Good Heavens... YUMMMMMM

  • This is a really interesting recipe. I wonder how this all tastes. Of course, I imagine it tastes great, but I've seen other curry recipes. Never quite like this though. ;)

  • is that thigh ?

  • @divascancook ohh i see :) thanks for the reply! ps this recipe is so great, thanks for sharing!

  • I see you have a pampered Chef Garlic Press..... Love it

  • @Hookmajor Yes!!! It's one of my favorite kitchen gadgets!!

  • Oh this chicken looks soooo good :D I love me some curry!

  • Just bought some curry powder the other day... I'm going to give this recipe a try. I've been looking for new and different things to try!!!

  • Looks divalicous!

  • looks fab!

  • Looks sooo yummy! Gonna make it this weekend. Thanks for sharing!

  • yummm! the only thing is...shouldn't you not baste with leftover sauce after cooking since that came in contact with the raw chicken?

  • It looks good. I like currypowder also. I have regular the curry powder, red thai curry and a hot yellow curry powder (salt free). What are some of the main seasoning, herbs, spices and blends you suggest to have on hand for cooking? Thanks again for another great recipe.

  • Hey monique this looks delish can you tell me what brand of curry powder you used thanks

  • @brownskin718 I used McCormick. It's not the best curry powder and really wouldn't recommend it, but it's all I had. I got it from Target.

  • Hi new subbie here, and I love all of your recipes. Tried one last night (apple crisp) and it was sooo delicious. I plan on making every recipe you have, and can't wait to try this one :)

  • what ist grey poupon? thank you an greetings from Germany!

  • @sternchen1965st a brand of mustard :)

  • @sternchen1965st it's a brand of Dijon mustard. You can use any brand you'd like but I like this one in this recipe for some reason.

  • Girl I love your dishes keep em coming!!

  • Oh Lord! YUm YUM YUUUUUM

  • Wow! The chicken looks so tender & delicious. Can this also be baked?

  • @BeautifullyBlackMe yep it can be baked. It comes out more of a creamy chicken dish when baked. I usually put it right over rice and spoon the sauce on.

  • i bet that taste so good w/some basmati rice!

  • Looks amazing!

  • U read my mind Ive been wantn to do a dish with curry
