In the movie Now, Voyager with Bette Davis, Paul Henreid, and Claude Raines, Bette Davis and Paul Henreid are dancing to the same clip as above, approprate to the plots in the movie in both cases~
This same clip of music is in the movie, Now, Voyager with Bette Davis and Paul Henried dancing to it just like Bogie and Bergman. Thanks for the name of the tune, I've been looking for its title forever!!
@DeNiroDelPiero i don't know if the original is from a.dominguez, but i happen to have the version from glenn miller and it's such a great version....:)

The lyrics to the song foreshadow the relationship between Rick and Ilsa.

The original spanish version was written by Alberto Domínguez and became a hit for Xavier Cougat in 1940 with his Waldorf-Astoria Orchestra.

Thanks for posting! Most likely Leo Forbstein with the Warner Bros. orchestra? Just a guess... WBs had the best movie music in the 1940s, IMHO.

Linda Ronstadt does a great version of Perfidia, as does NK Cole.

If I could choose to be reborn for just one instant and in any time in history I´d choose to replace Humphery Bogart in this scene.
