I saw Hanzel und Gretyl live last year... Vas is incredibly sexy and skilled. I was on crutches at the time and was in the front row jamming, after *EVERY* song Kaizer Von Loopy would hand me a beer... He got me so wasted, at the end of the concert he pulled me off my crutches onto the stage with them to sing back-up vocals for the last song... You talk about epic!

At the end of the show I purchased the new album which came with a ticket for a 2012 show and Vas made me promise to be there =)

@dyingfetus1000 Um, well the jury's still out on "industrial", but if you want to hear something a little more harsh, HuG's later albums might be up your street. On albums like "Scheissmessiah" they really cranked it up--plenty of nice crunchy guitars and beats.

Don't be put off by all that pseudo-German nonsense they're spouting though, it's all just a joke :) They're not Nazis, they're just a couple of clowns from New York.

I know everyone likes the new HuG, but in my opinion, they had a much fresher sound when they were on Energy Records. "Transmissions..." is such a fucking awesome record. I only wish we could someday hear that unreleased third album they recorded for Energy Records right before the label went bankrupt.

By the way, is it true when HuG tried to submit this video to MTV, the MTV people laughed at them?

We saw them play a show in Los Angeles, it was bloody wonderful. Between each song the band did a shot of Jagermeister--threw the shot glasses (plastic mind you) into the crowd, then on the last song they let anyone that wanted to-come up on the stage with them on the last song, fvkin uber!!
