It makes me so happy to see the classic paint scheme, instead of the traditional restorations you see with the modern graphics. I'm based out of KOKV, maybe I'll hear you on the radio one day
I know Martinsburg and runway 26. I fly rentals out of there now. Looking for a Bonanza currently. If you're still there and have the time, I'd love to at least see yours and get your opinions on the type.
@LagniappesGuy - I am still based at KMRB, and am the Secretary of the North East Bonanza Group. Sold the Bo and am flying a Travel Air. I will be more than happy to visit with you.
This was my dad's old airplane. My dad ended up selling it after my grandfather passed away and left him his Cessna 170B. This showed up at the airport that we had our Cessna 170B at around a week after we sold it, 20 years or so after owning it in northern Virginia. It was a blast from the past, it certainly looked better than it did when my dad owned it!

@Lester1Beck : Oh yes. This Bonanza has lasted 51 years longer than that one, and hopefully will last and be rewarding for new owners for another 51 years.
What a lovely video -- thanks for taking the time to put that together to share with us! What classic -- dream bird! And Neil Diamond's "Be" fit so very nicely into the montage you created...
Would love to have such a lovely aircraft one day....
@LAAV8R On this video, I used a regular video camera mounted on a tripod in the back seat. 2 of the legs were adjusted short and were strapped in using the seat belts. The third leg extended to the floor, just behind the emergency gear crank. Then I just ran a cable from the audio-out of the intercom to the mike jack on the camera.
I know your airplane! I fly out of JYO and I'm quite sure I've seen you at MRB and/or other local airports.

@jyokid: Could be, if it was almost 3 years ago, that's when I sold her and she went to her new home in North Carolina. Currently driving a BE95
