^o^ wow! maybe you should have someone try putting one of those tiny-tiney bird cams on her when she dose that stunt some time. they did it with birds of prey, and it was a real challenge. but looked REALLY kool! great trick!
First thank you. We tried and the studios camera wouldn't stay working. Kitten only weighs 3/4 of a pound. So the camera was much smaller than ones used on birds of prey. If you know any real small cameras. I would give it a try.
My Mickey Budgie comes down the hall into my bedrooms and he knows what room i am in when i walk down the hall .But this is something i thought i would never see!!! a pet out side with it's wings WOW Fantastic is the word yes.5/5 *****
Your voice sounds familiar. I must have your DVD set and clicker. Is that a DuCorp or a Goffin? It was hard for me to tell....Pretty amazing stunt for you and your 2.........
I've actually been told by someone working with Thick Billed Parrots that he's seen a Parrot in the wild dive (much like your fantastic bird did) to avoid a Falcon only to pull up right before the ground and sneak away into the trees while the Falcon crashed into a bush and then fly away empty handed...so to speak.
Did you use backchaining to train your bird to do this. And how did you train your bird to do the dive bomb?

That was awesome. I'm sure it took some serious dedication on your part but very few people could ever train a parrot to do that.

This one take years to master, with the right bird of course.

also... don't try this with your parrot at home either. It takes a LOT of training and trust. You don't want to loose your bird.
