I think all of you people need to shut up and say she is an artist...because she is. Her talent will go further if she continues like this. I think I'll buy a piece when i have the money. And I love the one with the masks very cool^^
wow she sorta good. i could do it too but hers are originals and i couldnt make the same as her so 821 people need to put a sock in it because they are jellous of a 3 year old and they cant make one of hers either
@stf43 Not many children have her talent actually. Not many children use such different types of techniques, and successfully. Not many children are so aware of colour and unity. Not many children have that sort of concentration. It's pretty damn impressive. Normally when you see kids paint, it's just a big blob taking up the whole paper. Or if they throw paint, it will have the same style, but it would never look near as good. Plus, even focused adult painters will probably make a mess.
@WhaIes I'm sorry for having an opinion, but I don't think that she's good. I bet her parents are rich (artists). If u put any kid in a room full of paint, the result would be something artistic. I just don't like the whole scene. The professional video, the paint all over her, it's like they are trying to convince us, that she's talented and already famous. If she really was good, you wouldn't have to convince me now how good she is + there is 1/3 of the likes that are dislikes, that speaks too.
@stf43 I don't have anything against your opinion. I'm just replying with mine. Yes, I think you're completely wrong after having experience with kids, but I don't hate you. And no... like I said.. if you put a kid in a room full of paint.. it would probably be either a picture of someone next to a sun, or a big blob taking up the whole canvas.1/3 of the people also don't quite understand that. The biggest thing is her understanding of colours and unity.Very few kids will understand that.
She is amazing.....so consious of what she is doing at her age! And notice, she is using both hands, which says that both of her right and left brain are working equally when she is making her work - that is rare.
this video has showed me the difference between a child prodigy artist and any normal kid making doodles is having at least one parent with too much time and money on their hands.
No, not every child can do this ... but every child given such access to canvases, paints, brushes, sponges, etc.a space to make messy, and given *absolute permission to do anything they want* CAN DO these great works of art! We all have it inside us at birth. It's all the "don'ts" of the world that squelch our inborn creativity.. Don't get dirty. Don't make a mess. Don't waste paint. Don't waste paper. Don't waste ... any opportunity for your child to SOAR!!
this is great that parents gave her such freedom from the start, but I guess she is not choosing her materials and paints herself, she is using what ever she sees (what ever parents drop near her), don't think she has the picture in her mind before doing it
Thank you for this clip > I love it++..good pic ,good sound, and good girl ...Don't think too much for Art ...that feel from in side ...try it if you don't like art try to getttt
Child prodigy, no. But this is still art. And it's great; not necessarily because of the way it looks, but it is conceptually great. The thoughts of an innocent child are being translated onto a canvas, and we see that a child's mind is colorful, random and beautiful.
Yes, any child can do this, but kudos to her for being recognized. We need somebody to represent not only child artists, but abstract artists as well.
I think this child is at least slightly talented, and her art is unique and pleasing, but I wouldnt go so far to say she is a prodigy, genius or 'the next picasso.' I also think that her success was entirely the result of smart or lucky parents pushing her into the limelight.
It is beautiful to watch someone create something that is driven from within, to watch a child this age do it so artfully and intently is truly amazing. If all children were given the space and tools to express themselves in their own way, the world would be a much better place.
yeah i don't mean to be cynical but i'm sure her parents are gallery owners or professional artist or something. for art like this to sell, it's all about who you know. she is definitely awesome and i'm sure she knows what she's doing, but if her mom was a nurse and her dad was a janitor, she would just be another kid with a messy room.
Я согласен с тем, что не каждый ребенок так сможет видеть окружающий мир, что не каждый сможет так нарисовать, но для меня это останется куском холста измазанный краской, это не искусство.
Omg even I can do same as she lol, this not an art! Every little kid can do same as that girl if you thing she is an artis your reallt crazy... but ye looks nice what she is doing... You can give paint to 2 years old kid and you will get same resolts maybe better...

He loves to splatter paint and glue on random craft pieces and then choose a name for his work. Then a second later he will look at it from a different angle and pick a different name for it.
This is no "Child Prodigy" it is a child acting like any child would with the resources she's been given... Want to see a real child prodigy check out Akiane's work... that is true talent!!!!
jason pollock's work is amazing, he is no child, and yet he is a prodigy, and for a child to have this sensibility in terms of color at her age yes she is a prodigy! She controls every drop of paint, for a child to express her feelings, like she does, in a painting it is amazing!
Not every Child in the age of 4 could draw like Aelita. She has feelings for the interactions of colour. The most Children in the same age would throw all colours together, and that wouldn´t be look like her pictures.
have she made also the video? and marketings and ads? and she bought the materials and everything her own? wow¡¡....... would be amazing right? and she put the titles also?........ahhh no sorry are the parents , manager, and money behind her....... well, here we have the next depresive girl when she will be older and understand that she is not a genius is only....... busisness......
Omg, I agree, she is no prodigy. She is just mixing colours together, anyone can do this, let alone a 2 year old. Maybe we can see her do some realistic work (then she may be a prodigy). She is just splatting and squirting... wt****. She's cute though :)
Her talent has to be developed and has to be sharpened as with this age she is doing marvelous paintings and if talent developed and when grown up people will forget Picasso and other painters..God bliss her and help her and save her for her parents and the lovers of master paintings

Unbeknownst to the "entry jury", the child entered &was accepted into Biennale of Chianciano, 2nd most prestigious art Biennale in Italy. My contact started there as I was a judge in the final jury, not he entry committee. I listened to this family's stories of attacks on them in places like this. I arrived as an art reporter to verify if it was true.. When reading the cursing, name calling, angry attacks, I have to agree with Aelita's father's view that jealous sick people sometimes write here.
The end result of her paintings from these unclipped, unedited videos were beyond brilliant and NO, most kids could even arrive at this level of painting, nor adults. I am an ART PROFESSIONAL having made & studied art extensively... Aelita's techniques I had never see, nor read or even thought up. I will be writing over the next few weeks at my blog about my time with her & her parents at the Biennale of Chiaciano 2011 where our friendship began. She's the real McCoy!
I inspected her videos from beginning to end, with no music added, not cutting, and all words heard being heard. I can 100% verify that at this current time of 4 years of age... she primes her own canvases choosing 100% of her own colors. Layering with her own instincts. She sprays colors on the air and waves her hands in the fine mist of colors. The room was loaded with over 100 tubes, cans, rollers, brushed, etc.
@yourARTescortFRANKLY Still shes just playing with the material. Or has she ever spoken about the artistic intention or the will to communicate a feeling or an idea through an abstract image? if so i'd be most impressed and would agree that shes a prodigy. If not well shes just another kid playing.
@Rockdrigo0 Thank you a very good question...The 1st time I approached her, I spoke to her like she was a 4 year old but I saw right away that this chid was intellectually much, much smarter, though her self control and impulsive behavior is totally of a 4 year old. She doesn't talk about technique but talks about what she sees in her art. She talks about colors and changing the tools but in a childliek way. I carried her in my arms in fron of other paintings at the Biennale.
@Rockdrigo0 She said the most profound things and then I knew... this kids is the real McCoy. She commented on a very difficult painting saying the colors were very simple and she would like to paint figurative one day. The work I should her was a very difficult piece but did have 4 bodies climbing up a hill all done in red and blacks. It happened to be a painting near her's. My jaw dropped open at this child's intelligence. I thingk she may be Synesthesia or something like this.
@Rockdrigo0 I can guarantee you one thing. She is not just playing around. I believe because of her superior intelligence and heightened sensitivity to stimulus, it is more of an outlet for her. She gets frustrated easily and runs in circles allot, then stops and stares. I believe it is her therapy. She did it with the food at the diner table needing to arrange and create as to keep her extremely fast processing speed content and focused.
I can say with out any doubt, the child is truly gifted.
@Rockdrigo0 I can not say where the future is for her and whether she switch from painting to pursue another gift but at this time, the painting is a necessary thing for her. Like an autistic child can be brilliant but sometimes can not speak, having a hard time processing the real world and stimlus, Aelita needs this energy out sources.
There are gifted kids who can not talk but can hear a song once and sit down and play it on the piano and sing the entire sonf after hearing it one time.

I had the chance to spend this last 9 days with this child... Aelita. I was mistrusting, critical and cautious at first approach. I was watching, searching for the truth, inspecting every detail, verifying what myself and others thought might be a scam.... At the end of 9 days... I made a wonderful friendship with her parents, fell in love with this gifted and challenged little girl. I found the truth.
What this is, is a pair of parents who understand the "modern art" world enough to know they can exploit their kid and make $5,000 a piece on her paintings if they convince gullible souls that this is genuine art and something no other kid can do, which is not true at all. I don't know whether to think her parents are pricks, or geniuses.
She is a cute kid, but this is 100% bullshit. The canvas has been primed for her, the color palette has been pre-chosen and mixed for her, and we only see little clips of her doing these "paintings" which are essentially a toddler tossing paint around just like any other toddler does. If you prime a canvas with a vibrant color, and choose the right palette of colors, then hand the paints to a toddler, you will get this result most of the time.
I consider this live, living art, done without fear and learned formality; ... The artist has a ball interacting with the paint in an intense love-affair. There is no correction, no second guessing, no regrets, just spontaneous, unpretentious fun that is mirrored back in the artwork. To me, this is art at its best. It makes me want to go and explore it like a kid all over again. Just for fun, clapping my hands with paint! I really love it! It makes me feel free!
i want to have that much freedom as this little angel ... she paints with her hands with brushes, with sponge with everything ... and colors, they are beautiful ... i hope that she will never lose that imagionation and freedom with years and time... her picture are so emotional and pure.... as an artists, im without a words ...
There are just too many things wrong with this video for it to be remotely convincing. The ONLY thing that will convince me that this child is producing these works is a video that documents her producing a work from its inception to its completion - no breaks, no cuts, and with continuous ambient sound (rather than the strategically edited use of 'live' sound) to prove that she is not being instructed. I don't really like the works; but I also don't believe she's producing them unassisted.
Good grief. you should see cats painting. and Elephants in thailand. oh, and monkeys. the kid is having fun, at least for awhile, but kids are really sensitive to the approval they recieve, and this is overvalueing an innocent activity...
I remember reading about her in a local news paper. I went ahead & checked out her work through various websites & sorry to say, my comment pretty much was " are you f***ing kidding me? She's throwing paint randomly at her object of choice & it's consider art? I've seen far superior " abstract " work by many many people in all age groups & they are considered just " average ". Nearly all of them go no where with it yet this girl, who is pretty much throwing paint around, is in the spotlight.
1. The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.
This is art. I wouldn't call it prodigal however. It's an honest, unobstructed expression by someone who, in my opinion, has an advantage... in that she has not been tainted by self-doubt, corrupted by greed, nor has she substituted enjoyment for employment.
Celebrate art, but don't elevate this beyond it's true level. There's no education or learning or practice here. She has some nice talent, I can't wait to see what she does when she receives the structural foundations that she's too young to understand. We all stand on the shoulders of our forebears....
The 710 dislikes (july 30 2011) are from those fools out there who are incapable of seeing things differently in the world, the people who fear things they don't understand, and hate when they are proven wrong!
they need to buy real Art!! not some paintings a kid made!! wtf!! that's really stupid my 5 year-old sister can do that!! i mean it's not real art! ><"

jason pollock's work is amazing, he is no child, and yet he is a prodigy, and for a child to have this sensibility in terms of color at her age yes she is a prodigy! She controls every drop of paint, for a child to express her feelings, like she does, in a painting it is amazing!

If this is art, I feel really stupid for trying so hard :(

This is beautiful and shows a natural process that I see every day working with 2-3-4 year olds who are given the medium to freely express.

We are throwing around the word prodigy, but it also seems that we are throwing around the word ART*

Omg, I agree, she is no prodigy. She is just mixing colours together, anyone can do this, let alone a 2 year old. Maybe we can see her do some realistic work (then she may be a prodigy). She is just splatting and squirting... wt****. She's cute though :)

wow. ....just wow. wayyy to much credit XD i think the PARENTS deserve the applause here for spending money on allll that dang paint!

When I was younger than her, I draw more deliberate things, since every normal kid was drawing exactly the same she is doing now.
The difference is - she got the space and the materials to draw, lol :P

She's the real McCoy!

.yourartescort.blogspot.com
I inspected her videos from beginning to end, with no music added, not cutting, and all words heard being heard. I can 100% verify that at this current time of 4 years of age... she primes her own canvases choosing 100% of her own colors. Layering with her own instincts. She sprays colors on the air and waves her hands in the fine mist of colors. The room was loaded with over 100 tubes, cans, rollers, brushed, etc.
yourARTescortFRANKLY 5 months ago
@yourARTescortFRANKLY Still shes just playing with the material. Or has she ever spoken about the artistic intention or the will to communicate a feeling or an idea through an abstract image? if so i'd be most impressed and would agree that shes a prodigy. If not well shes just another kid playing.
Rockdrigo0 5 months ago
@Rockdrigo0 Thank you a very good question...The 1st time I approached her, I spoke to her like she was a 4 year old but I saw right away that this chid was intellectually much, much smarter, though her self control and impulsive behavior is totally of a 4 year old. She doesn't talk about technique but talks about what she sees in her art. She talks about colors and changing the tools but in a childliek way. I carried her in my arms in fron of other paintings at the Biennale.
yourARTescortFRANKLY 5 months ago
@Rockdrigo0 She said the most profound things and then I knew... this kids is the real McCoy. She commented on a very difficult painting saying the colors were very simple and she would like to paint figurative one day. The work I should her was a very difficult piece but did have 4 bodies climbing up a hill all done in red and blacks. It happened to be a painting near her's. My jaw dropped open at this child's intelligence. I thingk she may be Synesthesia or something like this.
yourARTescortFRANKLY 5 months ago
@Rockdrigo0 I can guarantee you one thing. She is not just playing around. I believe because of her superior intelligence and heightened sensitivity to stimulus, it is more of an outlet for her. She gets frustrated easily and runs in circles allot, then stops and stares. I believe it is her therapy. She did it with the food at the diner table needing to arrange and create as to keep her extremely fast processing speed content and focused.
I can say with out any doubt, the child is truly gifted.
yourARTescortFRANKLY 5 months ago

IsabellaSleeps 5 months ago
She is a cute kid, but this is 100% bullshit. The canvas has been primed for her, the color palette has been pre-chosen and mixed for her, and we only see little clips of her doing these "paintings" which are essentially a toddler tossing paint around just like any other toddler does. If you prime a canvas with a vibrant color, and choose the right palette of colors, then hand the paints to a toddler, you will get this result most of the time.
IsabellaSleeps 5 months ago
I consider this live, living art, done without fear and learned formality; ... The artist has a ball interacting with the paint in an intense love-affair. There is no correction, no second guessing, no regrets, just spontaneous, unpretentious fun that is mirrored back in the artwork. To me, this is art at its best. It makes me want to go and explore it like a kid all over again. Just for fun, clapping my hands with paint! I really love it! It makes me feel free!

Watch from 6.14 for about a minute, she is mixing her own colors and making interesting decisions about the composition.

She's got nearly $300 000 in her piggy bank. Don't get too Jealous people!
Good on her and good luck.
I hope her paints are non-toxic.

Good grief. you should see cats painting. and Elephants in thailand. oh, and monkeys. the kid is having fun, at least for awhile, but kids are really sensitive to the approval they recieve, and this is overvalueing an innocent activity...

Art in its purest form.
BrokenPiecesOfHeart 7 months ago
art/ärt/Noun
