@freshfighter4 Mm-hm. It's well known that the dude can sing pretty darn well with or without autotune. But I guess the robotic effect is what gives the song it's partial appeal. Also, I think it's a growing style in Asia. Just lookup Vocaloid. o.o But, yeah, autotune is sounds good depending on what song you use it on.

I'll probably get a thumbs down for this, but I don't like this sound on GD. Don't get me wrong the song itself is pretty good, but I don't like the autotune effects. Makes him sound too manufactured. If GD wanted to bring this here to the U.S, he might not get a lot of recognition, just like BoA because EVERYBODY is using autotune and autotune can be linked to singers who can't really sing *Hannah Montana, JB*. Just go natural. It sounds BETTER than the electro-esque soulless sound.

Ever heard of the saying: "One man's trash is another man's treasure."? Plus, just because you have a record deal does not mean that you have a voice that is pleasant to everyone's ears. There are plenty of people the world over with great voices but they don't have record deals mainly because they don't fit the "look" of a typical pop star.

She got me into Jpop, eventually Jrock (though that's not her genre, but c'mon HYDE/Larcenciel/VAMPS, Janne D'Arc/Acid Black Cherry, Gackt, Miyavi FTW!), and esp. Kpop. Eat U Up eventually grew on me just like Heartbreaker did (<3ed the concert), but Eat U Up, while good, is pretty forgettable cause it just sounds like something any of these pop tartlets could do. *shrugs*
