You're right. I did like the mermaid connection too...very clever.

If you wanna kill yourself don't jump in the Medway...just drink a glass of the stuff.

The Mermaid has asked the Council to be moved cos the 'housing is terrible'.

Thanks..over the years I have seen all kinds of things being chucked in it, such as dead sheep! Someone told me that during the Great Flood they used to see cows floating about. Now it's trolleys and no doubt beer cans.. no wonder the Medway or Mudway, is never blue! A few years ago, it was covered in green algae that poisoned dogs. Come to think about it, the sea probably is just as bad!
