I think i am beggining to get use to binaural beats. When i first tried it i felt the effects right away. I could concentrate for 3 hours straight on them. Without thinking about anything, aside from the one thing i was working on. I felt as if my eyes were glued to the screen. Ive been using them for a month now i when i use them i feel like its not working, and im not able to concentrate like i could before. Can anyone help with this.
@manucudifan If you are receiving some benefit from this, it's likely that your brain has become accustomed to the stimulus which means it evokes less activity. Is your attention improved from this? Is the effect still influencing your attention/focus meaning that although the benefit is present, it may not be perceivable due to the stimulus being accustomed, but you may have some attentional benefit even if its not obvious to you because you don't "feel" it..
Are you sure this is binaural gamma? I'm pretty sure binaural does not work for frequencies above 33 hz, so are you using some kind of new tech or what?
I've tried making 40 hz binaural and it just won't work, the beat splits into 2.
For some reason, when i listen to gamma waves it helps me read more efficiently and it also helps me organize my thoghts, im not such a scatter brain. I just wish there was a manual on how to make use of brain waves
I love listening to the different people talk about stuff like this. I guess the rule of thumb is, if you hear hippies talk about "energy" and some other "cosmic" junk in relation to it and it's supposed "effects" you'll end up trying for years to find an actual lab study on it, and will instead fun hundreds of websites and made up things about it for you to wade through =/
@LabLaughs gamma and beta are more awake states, alertness. for relaxation you want to try alpha (twilight are, relaxed) and theta (sleep) or even delta (deep sleep very relaxed, can be hard to come back out of)
@fntime I can tell you why I wouldn't recommend more than a few minutes. Your brain operates much like a gasoline engine. Gamma is a lot like the red line on the rpm gauge. Its cool if you need to pass someone to run high rpms for a few seconds, but if you do it long term you burn out your engine. Stress can shrink and simplify your brain long term.
@fntime Delta you already do for long periods of time when you sleep. It is essential and in my opinion doesn't really matter how much you do. You may require less sleep if you do more delta. Theta you do when you dream, so much the same although you don't theta as much when you dream. You do theta when you learn though. Don't alpha theta or delta if your getting ready to go drive or something dangerous. It dulls your senses when you regularily would not. This requires more research though.
@SpankbankINC No research needed.. you're correct. Delta and Theta makes you drowsy as hell and dulls senses.. I know this because every time complete my Delta entrainment, and I put on music... my music actually plays slightly slower than it should, like my brain is processing it a little late.
But by the time I really notice, I'm knocked out for the night lol.
@fntime I mis typed. You do theta when you dream. If you run theta you may dream less. I studied this for about a year on my own. Much of what I know comes out of research from the 70's. We have really dropped the ball on a very promising field in my opinion.
@addictgnome yes, it may be ur first time so u might feel your eyes tearing up or your ears paining or headache but these are just some temporary side effects which go off the very next time you do it because for the first time your brain may not be able to handle the immidiate energy. So its perfectly ok :)
From my 3 minute experience, I believe this wave needs to be heard at a very low volume as it seems to cause some uncomfortable sensations to the ear drum.
More, does not necessarily mean better. Certain frequencies are "just right" for your brain to start producing desired effects and some others are not.
oh man I think I just shat my pants. Yep I shat my pants what a mess

What the hell?! Listened to 40 seconds of this and got an excruciating pain in my abdomen :( Not what I expected out of Binaural Harmonics.

@Roundtheworld360 You might want to get that checked out. Binaural beats can point out problems with your body and trouble areas.

30 minutes per day will be enough. I would not recommend more.

@TheDeeperwave is it true that with continous practice of attuning the brain to gamma waves, you become more likely to see/sence the spirit world?
MrPyewacket 1 year ago
@MrPyewacket Not sure. Maybe if you take some DMT before hand.

@TheDeeperwave Hi, should I use this wave for higher mental activity, and use beta for calming myself?
Also, what does the Alpha brainwave do?

Thanks again.

Is GAMMA in the morning and THETA in the evening okay or bad, or is it better to center on just one? I've been listening to both for a few days.

From what I know 40Hz. is good for Gamma.
