I live in Londonderry, and fortunatly live on a hill. A big thank you to all the people who pulled together to help other's after Irene. THanks for agreat video!
I was in Jamaica this weekend and the temporary road the town built is amazing. Stopped to pick up some food for camping at Jamaica Market and glad to hear the town is doing okay. Best wishes to all.
Thanks for the video. I hope you will post more so we can see the progress. I rented a place on water st for a couple years in the late 90s. Am glad to see it's still there. Loved the swimming hole just up the street. I miss Jamaica all the time. Wish I could lend a hand. Best wishes, Tim in WA
Jamaica has always responded quickly to emergencies. But, this time the Ball Mountain Brook MUST be straightened through the village, and huge concrete "seawalls" installed. Hasn't it been proven that "rip-rap" does not do the job? How many times have we seen this, or nearly this, happen? The two homes I lived in until I was 23 years old are gone, only memories remain, well, that and the barn! Just very glad no loss of life. Thanks for sharing the videos.

Thanks for the video. I keep checking each morning to see how folks are doing.
No surprise that Jamaica is already working on repairs. One heck of a town.
Blessings to all and thanks that no one was lost...
