  • oh now oh now , here we go now <3

  • AC/DC and Ozzy = FUCKIN FUCKIN BEST COMBINATION

  • The biggest loser douches listened to this crap in 82... and they're still loser douches.

  • When OZZY was OZZY

  • Comment removed

  • Ozzy looks younger now than he did in the 80's lol

  • @NoRestTillDeth need we mention all the drugs he was probably on during that show?

  • Have they taken down Ozzy's songs?? I can't find a studio version of this, wtf?

  • @karlmoles65 they should have plenty

  • @NoRestTillDeth I had to upload one.

  • @karlmoles65 oh thats wierd cux of seen plenty of regular studio versions of his songs

  • oh yeah and this was not speak of the devil.that had only sabbath tunes

  • poison ripped this song off and faggotized it cant remember which one but i was pissed. ozz should sue

  • back to smokn those joints again

  • Два яйца и херЪ!!!

  • does anyone know what this song is refering to?

  • @CRAZYCAWCASION Hot air balloons.

  • @MrIndashadows What about Jake Lee, dude? He fucking rules too!

  • I though the Speak of the Devil recordings were all Sabbath covers?

  • here we go now!

best lyric from the whole song imo. ozzy is rock.

  • @MrIndashadows What about Jake E. Lee? He was amazing.. better than Zack IMO. Not that Zack isn't great as well, but Randy's the best for sure!

  • alright

  • Love Ozzy to death. But terrible timing on the most obvious lip synch ever

  • @MrIndashadows I think Ozzy vocal are thin...like, pre-recorded thin....nice lip synch...As far as Brad's thin sound...maybe blame it on the sound engineering team...Completely different setup live (especially when you're playing to a click track (since the lead singer / manager (SHARON) mandates the show)...hilarious...

Ozzy's been a more produced show than a Cirque du Soleil show and really belongs on Fremont Street in old Vegas.... loved him early, but come on Reality TV ??

  • Considering OZZY if fully lip-synching this live performance...and Brad Gillis (and the rest of the band) has to keep tight to the click-track...this is pretty well done.... 98-Degrees or half the Rap Artists out there can't keep up......I am sure Sharon was in the wings telling Ozzy "Drop the Water..your song is starting Ozzy.... !!"

  • C'mon guys, stop shitting on Brad. I don't think he intended to replace Randy at all. Be happy Brad was able to help Ozzy tour that year. Don't forget, the poor bastard is just getting over his death at this point. Props to Gillis, and long live Randy Rhoades!

  • @pinkula999 +1, Brad was and is amazing. Nobody compares to Randy, but Brad did a fuggin awesome job covering. Jake is spectacular. All of Ozzy's guitarists have been freaking unbelievable!

  • You can tell how depressed Ozzy is. When Brad played the solo, Ozzy completely ignored him. If Randy were to do that solo, Ozzy would have been picking him up by the leg :D

  • Gillis did a good job on this tour. Must have been hard to take over for a guy who was so loved as Randy. Saw him not too long ago and he can still play like nobody's business.

  • this is sad...

  • now adays ozzy is good at lip syncing..if he can't speak for fuck sakes, ho do u expct him to sing?

  • everybody clap your hands... >_<

    clap

    clap

    clap

  • Just reading this comments makes me sick!!! you bunch of kids fuckers!!! why you just don get it once and for all !!! rock and roll and metal is just a one very family and as music concerns is there, for musicians to play it!!!! no matter who the fuck composed it!!! is there for you!!! for me!!! for all you stupid FUCK!!!!! so please stop finger fuck yourself and understand that music is for everyone!!!!

  • i always wondered what effect Ozzy used on his voice? I always sounds like it's doubled or something or is he just that Badass!?

    He's that Badass...

  • @MrIndashadows Jake E Lee was pretty good.... wouldn't call him shit but Randy was a hard act to follow mainly because he was the innovator of Ozzy's early sound and everyone was so touched by his tragic loss. I give Brad credit for having the guts to even get on stage with Ozzy so soon after Randy died. Zakk was able to come into the scene much later on after the fans had a chance to get over Randy's death so it was easier for him to evolve the sound. No comment on Ozzy's current guitarist....

  • @bachaterosdemetal gus is ok, but he definately isnt meant to do ozzy's style of metal

  • Randy Rhoads, pride of Burbank, CA

  • GREAT SONG !!!!!

  • Plllllaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy Baaaacckkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ozzy did a nice job on the speak of the devil albun

  • flying high?? esta hablando del fasooooooooo

  • Yeah have to agree with RomanMMIX. Both here and on the CD the vocals are clearly doubled. Whether on the night or in post production it's clearly not just Ozzy, much as I love him. Don't get me wrong the man can sing, but these were shows specifically put on to put out a live album as a contractual obligation. Perhaps the vocals weren't up to scratch at the time or the recording of the vocals was disappointing, maybe the engineer screwed up and they never got recorded, who knows?

  • He is not singing. Listen to the difference in sound from when he is "singing" the lyrics to when he ad-libs ("everybody clap your hands"). I do not know if the original release of this concert had real audio, but this has been re-worked.

  • beautiful amazing jizzworthy!!! he is so fucked on that stage lol.

  • LOVE THIS <3

  • Does anyone else think his blue spandex pants seem... oddly tight? :-P

  • ozzy has been lip syncing for years

  • Sounds great but hardly a live performance, everything esspecially the vocals have been refined in the studio.

    Robert Nix Rock/Pop Artist

  • @MrIndashadows I couldn't agree more that, of Ozzy's guitarists, Randy Rhoads was in a different universe than any of the others. Zakk Wylde is phenomenal in his own right--he's just got his own thing going. And Brad Gillis was a poor replacement--period. I've never been impressed with his abilties. But don't discount Jake E. Lee. I still think he was, and is, a virtuoso. And although it sucked that he and Ozzy parted ways so soon, his work on Bark at the Moon is exemplary.

  • @lucas2718 that pretty much sums it, bro : )

  • hmmm shit huh??? maybe you should be playing with ozzy...Gillis fucking rocks, Rhoads rules, and Wylde will kick your ass

  • @MrIndashadows i agree but i think that jake was really close to randy's style and was an excellent player

  • This sounds so fake compared to oldschool black sabbath. Sabbath is where it will always be, no offense Randy but Black Sabbath are the things that history books are made of...

  • Does anyone agree with me that Ozzy has a strange yowl and tone to his voice? Kind of like glass or something? Something even robotic? If so, what are your favorite songs to hear his voice in? I think this is a great example of a really good Ozzy-Voice live recording. My idea of when he didn't sound so great is for example the way he sounded on the The Ultimate Ozzy video.

  • Music has lost the likes of this....Music has gotten so fkng weak and soft. Heavy acts = lost art.

  • purple pants are metal.

  • the rodney dangerfield of metal..

  • @MrIndashadows Tony Iommi, man!

  • He is definitely NOT lip-synching here. There are big differences between this and the album version. Sorry, Ozzy can sing live.

  • @gagebrwn well duhhhhhhh!!!

  • purple yoga pants....haha....what was the prince of darkness thinking?

  • The Ozz has the same goofy body as Will Ferrell.

  • @TheSpearChuckah your a goofy body

  • this is better then the version on cds

  • @MrIndashadows zack is shit. randy and jake e lee were ozzy's best

  • @TeamRecharge in my opinion jake e lee was ozzy's worst guitarist

  • i love how he claps

  • i listen to this every day his voic e is best ever

  • This is when singing sounded just like the fuckin record.Awesome song my favorite Ozzy tune.I liked him as a solo artist better... :0)

  • No matter what anyone says Ozzy has one of the best voices in rock of all time. Think I'm wrong? Play any one of his songs and then listen to him live! The guy is the Godfather of Metal. Hail Ozzy!!!

  • @thorandmoljnir ozzy had, has a great fricken voice, legendary

  • this is better than 1970 or 1990 or 2000 or 2010

  • Who was the bass player on this tour???? He's got no moves and no sense of rhythm.

  • @jobu88 Rudy Sarzo

  • Wow and he was supposed to have broken some barriers and shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Did he ever lip synch?

  • 19 hip hop queens visited this page recently.

  • who cares if the Oz man has boobs.....he is still a powerful force to be reckoned with. He is the best there is, look how many have been influenced by him.....Hats off to the Oz Man

  • 19 people couldnt get high

  • Legalize it !

  • This song is reminiscent of "You Don't Have to be Old to be Wise" by Judas Priest.

  • 2:26 deserves a award from Guitar Player magazine how he uses a tiny bit of whammy bar to pick up that beautiful 2 seconds of hammer-ons.

  • The solo here makes me cry, after I hear this solo I have to turn off my computer and sit down at the kitchen table and remember how beautiful those notes from Gillis's sounded. Then go outside and pet my dog.

  • if volume water or that and for that reason sounds thus

  • Wow Ozzy sounds great in this performance!

  • momma imsorry

  • Comment removed

  • awesome song...one of the best ozzy's song

  • The best band Ozzy ever had after Randy Rhodes passed on. Tommy Alldridge on drums, Rudy Sarzo on bass, and Brad Gilles on guitar. Man they could rock. Hey Zakk, cut out all those harmonic bends that plague every fucking measure all learn how to articulate real notes!

  • @mrgeorgebailey1 Check out the new TV special. Thirty Years After the Blizzard. It has Zakk playing along with Randy solos and he's really close. At the end of the whole thing he plays Dee. I didn't know he had it in him.

  • @mrgeorgebailey1 In my opinion (the 1982) Diary of A Madman/Speak of The Devil WAS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE, Ozzy's FINEST/CROWNING ERA! TO THIS DAY, I'm, STILL, FLOORED by Brad guitar playing (I LOVE the way he uses the "whammy bar!")! I LOVE the way Rudy "headbangs" on bass! In my opinion, UNFORTUNATELY, Ozzy never "scaled" heights HIGHER than THIS tour!

  • Randy Rhoades, WOW!!

  • @myndcryme64 ... too bad this was after he passed... Brad Gillis did a helluva job in a very difficult situation.

  • 4:20 Rock out!!

  • This is the best ozz-era! his voice is clear and powerful!

  • @VICEBOYmusic He sang best in the early to mid 70's.

  • @VICEBOYmusic that's because this is "pre-recorded track your hearing". yes, they dubbed him in every verse or so yelling, "come on!" .... to make it appear he's actually singing here. sorry. he's not. this is produced. oh well. great old video. i shudder to thing what his vocals "Really' sounded like, Live.

  • @drumdude46 You're right. Vocals here are post-produced, or whatever its called.

  • Ozzy is a beast now and he was then even when he was drunk off his ass and im sure hardly knew what was going on

  • I find it odd he cant even clap in rythm with his own song...

  • @onemanbandful really? he's probably been through his third bottle of Hennessy (and God knows what else) by the time they started this song [and that wasn't water in the cup he drank just before singing lol], did I mention this is the same year he pissed on the Alamo?

  • Ozzy is definitely not lip syncing. They paid special attention to the sound at the shows that Brad Gillis finished out that on tour. Black Sabbath was planning to put out a live album, so the record company decided to get a live album of Sabbath material out first. That's why "Speak of the Devil" doesn't have any of Ozzy's solo material on it. After hearing how well Gillis sounded on the Sabbath songs, I've always wondered how he did on Randy's songs, great job! God Bless Randy Rhoads♫♪

  • Ozzy tends to oversing.. You know when he's not lip syncing because his voice is as raw as fuck..

  • some may say he is lip syncing but play this and the studio album at once. suttle differences. he was having a good concert and sounded a lot like the album.

  • i love how he keeps putting his mic on the stand and then taking it of like within 2 secs lol XD

  • I seriously don't doubt that ozzy is lip syncing this concert

  • @dimebagdarrellftw probley is he is so drunk and fat

  • @SuperDylanv at :33 he "everybody clap your hands" in a fat al voice

  • gotta love Ozzy and how he plods across the stage, the man is a Rock N Roll King!

  • Yeah, kudos to Gillis pulling this gig off the way he did -- Awesome, nonetheless!

  • event though i'm now 40, i never got to see ozzy during this tour cause i was only 11 yrs old..fuck me , man what a party that must've been !!

  • lip synking sucks. HAY OZZIE!! Remember Sundance???

  • 18 people cant fly high

  • Brad Gillis can really play, too -

  • Randy Rhoads Is god!!!

  • @johnoak18 I agree but this is just after Randy's death, Brad Gillis filling in.

  • Oz is the bomb. Check out his face at 0:11. Too funny...friggin intense dude.

  • They have doublers that can process your voice live and make it sound fuller, even be adjustable so that you could sound like two or more people singing. Nowadays you can get them in stomp boxes for a few hundred bucks each. There's also harmonizers that can make you sound like a group singing harmony.

  • Don't you hate when the band starts the song on ya while you're still trying to get hydrated? ;)

  • Brad Gillis doesn't get enough love....

  • Brad Gillis doesn't get enough love....

  • Just so everyone knows, this is some dam good lip sinking. The band sucks at faking it, however.

  • Rrrrandy...where re you

  • Rrrrandy

  • how is he doing the tapping?

    with pick?

    2:31

  • @theripper013ok definitely a pick, he's just holding it in a weird manner.

  • His voice sounds great because he's singing to a tape so his voice sounds fuller.

Didn't know Ozzy had been doing this for almost 30 years now. I don't like that at all.

Had to be tough on the whole band after Randy's death. Yes, Brad certainly did pay his dues.

  • JEEZUS CHRIST sounds fucking better than the album version. Ozzy was the best.

  • @Orion1205 is*

  • bets posture in rock n roll!

  • it must have something to do with SHARON! and her money!

  • U know whats crazy about this footage....is u never can find Randy Rhoads (pre-death) on the Diary of a Madman tour anyfuckinwhere !!!! now why the fuck is that!!!!????

  • @StuON22 cause the have to pay Randys family royalties and Sharon ain't paying no one her...er...Ozzys money! The Rhodes family own his image and get paid for it to be used and Sharon wont part with the cash.

  • @fallsnative U know that's right !!!!! Thanks for seeing the TRUTH !

  • I was there....Irvine meadows 1982 !!!!!! 43 now 14 then.....Best concert in my life ....so far.....not including the MIND BLOWING US festival in 1983 !!!!!

Luv the guy who posted this!!! I might know him.....heee heee heee

  • Comment removed

  • fuck, wish i was born early enough to go to shows like this. i would be going fucking nuts

  • This is NOT Randy Rhoads. It is Brad Gillis. Brad Gillis is a foot taller, and plays hot rodded stratocaster guitars and rarely a les paul (that has a tremolo bar). Randy Rhoads footage is hard to find. He was a smaller, thin man and only played stratocaster guitars in the studio. With exception of his Jackson, his guitars came without Tremolo bars. Guess you gotta' be over 40 to get that right : )!

  • Comment removed

  • I think Brad Gillis did a great job here and I have to commend him for agreeing to play for the tour !

  • NO he is not playing

  • It's Brad Gillis. Oy hired him to tour after Randy's death

  • excuse my ignorance .... there is randy plying in this video right ?

  • @adri1a2n I dont think this is Randy that guys hair was weird looking and not randy

  • Man backing tracks...

Great tune, but not the real deal.....

  • 1982 was the yr rhoads died was this the show they played before his death

  • @leonoff89

    i believe so

  • Lee Kerslake was a fucking legend

  • I really hope he plays all these old songs during tomorrow's concert X)

Including some Black Sabbath stuff :D if that happens my life will be complete

  • @MrEman51

at the dallas show, the band played a TON of sabbath stuff... you'll be pleased, i think. :)

also, they played this song. you'll enjoy it.

  • Brad kills this...big boots to fill, after Randy...good job...."clink"

  • Meh, Ozzy's voice is unique, his peak was probably Vol.4 for Black Sabbath.

  • lady who?

  • ozzy said this gig was so hard for bernie.. i think he did pretty awesome.. was one hell of a show

  • Comment removed

  • You can hear how Ozzy's voice was also recorded in studio to double - track this show... If you are interested in trading Ozzy bootlegs tell me...

  • I can't imagine how hard it was to continue this tour after Randy was killed. Nor how hard it was for Brad Gillis to take over on guitar.

  • @monsta64 Don't know how accurate or true this is but, from what I understand, when Brad toured with Ozzy, Brad said, "Some shows were 'hell on earth.' " Why? Fans were 'giving me the finger' and/or shouting 'F**k you!' or 'F**k off!' 'Get off the stage!'" Talk about "paying your dues!"

  • how do you get your voice to sound like that live?

  • cocaine's a hell of a drug

  • @smiley1612 "I am rick james bitch"

  • Flyin High Tonite at 7PM!!!! LAX to Chicago Midway

  • hes got ugly man breasts and is all puffy ..... PUT A SHIRT ON ....yuck

  • @SHMUJEW if you want good man boobies watch ricky martin. Fuck off!!! Ozzy is king in the land of fuckin rock n roll!!! Wanker!!!

  • @supernaut16 back then in the glory rocking eighties ok but look at him right now these days.just a shadow of himself what a shame drugs, alcohol and a moneysucking women can do to a man.what a shame

  • @SHMUJEW ozzy rules!!! you fag

  • @SHMUJEW you will have an ugly man breasts hahaha !!! dipdung !!!! Ozzy is King !!!!

  • F*ck Elvis Ozzy is the King

  • i like how he mixed crazy and lazy its daddy thinks im lazy .

  • This was my favorite stage he used.

  • ozzy has a great voice the legend still lives on

  • Brad's main axe is a tricked out fender strat. He talks about it in one of the guitar issues how he had to make alot of modifications, especially for the floyd rose

  • Do Not ever put Lady Gaga and OZZY in the same sentence EVER AGAIN , WTF ?

  • Love this! Miss Randy!

  • Great performance saw him at the US festival back then unforgetable.............

  • i hope ozzy gets back to this vocal style
