Fundy National Park, Mathews Head Look out trail

I laughed as this is the easy trail we all got lost on. Ridiculous. My brother wanted to one way, and I said the other...sadly he listened to me and I took everyone on a dark journey. About 10-12 hours later,pitch black dark, (about 10:00pm) everyone exhausted and SCARED, we finally found our way out and a HUGE Black bear crossed right in front of us. Everyone screamed! Later we told the Park Ranger he was thrilled and said "Congratulations!"...Man Alive..I needed a hug instead! :) smiles

:) smiles -- it's a beautiful park, we went last week too -- been going since I was a kid & done every single trail there a zillion times (the expert ones too) and then recently we did that beginner easy trail and I got us ALL lost! So dumb! I'm so glad we LIVED to tell the tale - we heard something following us for awhile...CREEPY...but to SEE it...shiver...it was the HUGEST black bear you can imagine......scary stuff! giggles :) made a great memory though
