You can still compete. Just have to be good in with the higher ups. I just got out in Feb. and they were cool with two of our Marines fighting. Army...Air Force and even Navy has fighters. As far as I know I think the Marine Corps has a Marine Corps Top Team or Team Marine Corps.

Brian Stann is a role-model for all. He is what everyone should aspire to be. After Sonnen, he'll go on to stomp a spider. He will be the next champ in the middleweight division. In my opinion, he won't just beat Anderson, he'll manhandle him. I can't wait to see the biggest prick in MMA get a hole punched through his face and retired. Silva has great talent but his character is shit. He is no "people's champ." Stann will be the most beloved, respected, feared, and revered champ of all time.

I admit I got caught up in the hype around Stann, and underestimated Sonnen big time, but I maintain that Stann has the answer for Silva. No one blasted through Leben like he did, except Silva back in '06 when they met. He just needs more time to develop. He's still a pup in the game if you think about it. Yes I hate Silva, and I hope he gets smashed. Whether it be at the hands of Sonnen or Stann, it doesn't really matter to me.

@jdailey01230 I wrote this before the Sonnen fight. I over hyped up Stann. I thought he was much better than he actually is. As it stands, Stann def loses to Silva. He would get beat on his feet by the spider bc his wrestling isn't close to where it needs to be. I overlooked Sonnen. In hindsight, that wasn't smart. I remember how dominating he was in the Sonnen/Silva fight, yet I didn't think that lightning would strike twice. It did, and harder. Still a big Stann fan but... WAR SONNEN!

@bomberslc hows that? Sonnen exposed Stann for his lack takedown defense and overally wrestling ability. Silva wouldn't have tried to take him down. Stylistically, It would have been a totally different fight. They probably would stay on their feet and the better striker would win. Now Silva is a world-class striker but Stann is the toughest SOB in the business with a great chin to boot. I could easily see Stann walking through Silva's shots and landing that bomb that turns his lights out.

Brian helped Sonnen get two of his friends job through Stann's Heroes for Hire program about 2 weeks before the fight was annouced. That should give Sonnen fans an answer as to why Chael has been keeping his big, fat, obnoxious, stupid, vacant mouth shut when it comes to trash talking Stann. Smart move, Sonnen.
