  • i dont know if you were just trying to accentuate the position of the stick or what, but the moeller technique demands back fulcrum. and when you were explainng up-strokes, you were quite obviously using front fulcrum. i am in no way saying i fully understand the moeller technique, but good technique in general says not to take your back fingers off of the stick in any situation other than like a single-stroke roll at 150bpm in which case you have to use fingers. good vid though.

  • what i've learnt is that in the moeller thechnique, you use a more waving type of motion, because when you play the regular down,tap,up, you can only get so fast, but when you use the moeller upstroke, it gets way more speed and control, I can see in your video that you are doing it like I described, only it's a little different from what you say
