Great Video Adam, definitely hear what your saying about needing to get your hands dirty and the limitations that Wordpress and it's themes can have. Thats actually how I ended up finding your video because I was tired of constraints wordpress, Drupal and others had on themes and actual design. Great work your video really helped me understand how php and mysql integrate together together!

Hi Adam, thanks for this video. I'm a web designer and these CMS (Wordpress, Joomla) software has been killing me as people want to do it themselves. But I have learned to embrace it and I have learned to actually welcome it and see that its the only way to go. I still like to build from scratch, but to find materials or someone to orientate me has been a mission. And all I do is ask around to no avail. But this tutorial is exactly what I was looking for. Their fantastic!! Thanks again.

I've had a look at your site and thought it was great but I noticed when u click on the pictures for a bigger view another page pops up, this would look so much more professional with a simple lightbox script, I know ur not into JavaScript but I'm sure it could be done in Flash just as easily with actionscript

The page transition sound in Scott Clarks's site is annoying and archaic. That mechanical sound was always used on flash site back in the day. Also, the images could be cleaner but overall not a bad site.
