Yes yes very easy, I also do like that but then with Logic as the sequncer. Kust make sure that the channels/tracks in your (Cubase) sequencer correspond with the midi-channels in your Triton's combi or song-settings. So the selected midi channel/track in Cubase will let you hear (through audio out of course) the midi-selected Triton sound.
To all (who commented until now and new ones ) 'my' viewers :-) :
Please check a reggae riddim I uploaded. I created it with Logic and use the keys of course to play and record all the parts. Search on Youtube for 'Doomsday riddim'
Yes man thanks for your comment. You can also check a reggae-riddim I uploaded on Yotube . I created it with Logic and use keys just for midi-playing. Check 'Doomsday riddim' on Youtube :-)
What kind pedal do you guys use to switch programs and control your Korg? I'm also wondering if you know how to trigger sounds with a pedal, if it's possible..
Darude90,you are awesome! 1000 thanks from me for your advise. I tried to another pedal,it works!!! But only within program or within combi. How to switch sound from combi to program without sound gap? Any ideas?
cj4everjava,many thanks for your respond. I will try to do what you've suggested or probably buy Roland Fantom-G instead :) your advice is clear and understandable, many thanks.
Hi cj4everjava. Seems you are expert. Love you video. I need you advise. I have the same instrument Korg Triton Le,when I perform alive using piano sound(Programs) and want to switch to another sound in Combination I always have sound gap while switching buttons. Could you suggest how to avoid it? Many thanks.
As far as I know there is no way to avoid the sound gap. I know that on the Roland Fantom-G this problem is solved, the sounds can be switched without the gap (either in Performance or Patch mode or after each other) .
The only way I could think of a solution for the Triton Le: set your wanted programs in a combination/song and use 'mute' to switch sounds on and off inside the combi. Maybe not ideal, but could help well for your needs.
in regards to switching sounds quickly there will always be a sound gap in the combination mode however if you have an extra foot pedal and use it in the "switch" input and set the switch to "program up" you can set the next sounds you want one program up example "Combi A000 piano" and "A001 lead" you set the pedal and when you need to switch press the pedal and the next patch will be there
Man! i have a question to make. Can you, instead of crate each track bye separate, insert a MIDI file and then change the sounds with the ones you like? That would be very useful cause i work onhe melodies on the computer.
Thank you so much

Can you easy route the Triton's sound to Cakewalk or Cubase's sequencer?

Ja hoor dat kan wel.

Zo zou het moeten werken.
Okay succes

rtiztic 4 years ago
