And remember the political situation in the US, especially it's stand towards communism and the USSR changed drastically the further u get away from WW2 At first most people liked the soviets because they beat the nazi's but later the soviets became the biggest threat to the west.
And World in Conflict is a ripoff of Act of War, that was simply the best modern RTS ever. Especially Act of War: High Treason that was the first modern RTS to combine tactical naval, aerial and ground combat (not some EE crap). AoW is simply the best RTS, and was made way before neither of these. And yet it has stunning graphics and gameplay. Once again, better than both of these.
if you want to play multiplayer you have to buy Panzers Phase One, its much better than this. Panzers Phase One can still be played online over Gamespy Arcade.
WELL IF YOU INSTALLED IT, IT SHOULD BE ON THE BOX....unless you installed a illigal version, and I decided long ago to never use illigal games again...
and what they dont mention in the trailer is that there is only a handful of units for each of the 2 factions which is very disapointing for a game which history has focused on vaired tanks dont buy this , buy the ww2 versions of the game much better and more value for you buck

i think they could go to different aeras of conflict in WW2, sure fighting in France over and over again is boring, but the new COD is also in the Pacfic and they could expand on the fightening in russia, and maybe a FPS from Nazi Germany's veiw point, fighting to gain ground and then slowly losing it, before staging a desprate last stand in Berlin, that is a WW2 FPS i'd like to play

The Cold War was more of a little chess game in an international size between the US and the USSR. There's gonna be no clash between US and Soviet forces unless they make an alternate timeline, which has been done and redone over and over again.

well, look at uncharted and upcoming uncharted 2 those two obviously arent, and Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier, etc. yes we are losing alot of ideas but in the end we still have some good stuff (Halo:RECON really give it a rest, Halo Wars on the other hand..interesting)

i think they could go to different aeras of conflict in WW2, sure fighting in France over and over again is boring, but the new COD is also in the Pacfic and they could expand on the fightening in russia, and maybe a FPS from Nazi Germany's veiw point, fighting to gain ground and then slowly losing it, before staging a desprate last stand in Berlin, that is a WW2 FPS i'd like to play

The Cold War was more of a little chess game in an international size between the US and the USSR. There's gonna be no clash between US and Soviet forces unless they make an alternate timeline, which has been done and redone over and over again.
But hell, I'm not gonna say it's bad, atleast not until I've actually played it.

well, look at uncharted and upcoming uncharted 2 those two obviously arent, and Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier, etc. yes we are losing alot of ideas but in the end we still have some good stuff (Halo:RECON really give it a rest, Halo Wars on the other hand..interesting)
