Your philosophy of life is full of contradictions. If death is the only truth then birth does not exist and therefore we do not exist. Krishna is adi purusha, the original person, one without a second. Vishnu is His expansion in the material creation and when Krishna comes He enters through Vishnu but He always remains the adi purusha. We don't place, Krishna comes! Vedanta does not teach an impersonal conclusion. Did consciousness write the Veda's? You're conscious and you're a person! Why do you deny the existence of a Supreme Person? How would Deepak know? He doesn't even know who made his body and how is finite consciousness abounds in it. Anyway, the deity forms of the all pervading consciousness; Krishna the Supreme Personality Of Godhead are available to fools such as ourselves so that we can relate with Him directly.

Actually, there is a sanskrit verse; acintya beda beda tattva, translated means, inconceivable, simultaneous oneness and difference. India is low in human development index due to the change its culture has gone thru. Same can be said about Africa, which is having trouble transitioning from its traditional lifestyle to the Western style of life.

Sanatana Dharma is good at adopting ideas from outside and in a sense that is what is going on in India today. Present day Western lifestyle is resource based and thus cannot be sustained indefinitely. SD is nature based and offers some ideas for the long term.

I disagree. Colonial powers and Muslims have caused enough damage to Sanatana Dharma, that it has not revived as yet.

The world can learn a lot from Indian traditions as these are based on nature. Western growth based model can collapse like a stock market bubble, when resources become scarce.

Actually it is the West that has a tendency to exploit the 3rd world that the 3rd world is forced to become Western. The tribals living in the forest have little need for Western ideas.

Why are you so hung up on Iskcon ? It really does not matter if it survives or not, since it is only one way to interpret the Gita. There are many other ways. 

Did you try being an Iskcon devotee but could not get yourself to commit ?? Were you too scared to commit or were to you there with the intention to denigrate ? I am not sure where you are coming from.

Reason and rationality as we know it has its limitations, and America will more and more embrace the "inner science' of the East. It need not be Iskcon, which is but a very small part of the Sanatana tradition.

I disagree.  Eastern concepts are more than horoscope, etc. Acceptance of meditation for health benefits etc. is just one example of how the mainstream is accepting these ideas. In this process Christianity will redefine itself to accommodate these eastern ideas. This along with secularization should help reduce t he number of fanatic missionaries spreading their venom in the 3rd world.

Today Europe sends very few missionaries abroad compared to the USA.

Once the tipping point is reached ideas are adapted en masse. China adopted Buddhism over time..same with the West. Do not discount the power of Eastern ideas, as they have not disappeared inspite of the fact that the West considers everything Eastern to be backwards.

India's life expectancy is lower due to ill infrastructure and the change its culture is going thru, not due to Ayurveda.

Sure the world benefits from modern and western medicine, but many of the diseases are a result of modernity and the western lifestyle. In olden days in India, cancer was called "Raj Roga" meaning disease of the Royalty. Common man seldom had that condition.

Current Western and Modern lifestyle is not sustainable in the long run. Resources are limited. Prinicples of Ayurveda are more earth based and require less exploitation of nature. The West will have to adopt something from here.

Unfortunately India does not have a modern day infrastructure, but rather a very primitive one. But its more than just diet, but a whole new way of looking at things. In Hinduism animals are worshiped because that is the easiest way to stop killing them. Trees rocks, rivers etc. worshiped for the same reasons. All of these are needed for an environmentally conducive lifestyle.  There is a lot to be learned if one cares to look at the religion in depth, rather than as a tourist.

Christian missions are well organized and make inroads thru their deceptive practices. In that sense Western christianity seems like the work of the devil.

However, while Christianity keeps redefining itself with times, the basic ideas of Hinduism have not been compromised. This is because they still work even in this day and age. And I predict that eventually Christianity will look more and more Eastern.

The Hare Krishna movement does not need opportunists to stay alive. Prabhupada's goal was to revive Hare Krishna in INdia, and sure enough this movement thriving there.
