@OTKP That's mostly due to the fact that ppv boxers get paid in one fight what the top boxers of the past made in 3-5 fights.....you cannot blame the boxers of today.....you must understand that every fight has huge health risks to both fighters and if a fighter can live comfortably off of one fight it's completely understandable..

That is the problem, boxers today are strictly about the money, while Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Leonard...they actually LOVED BOXING! That is why they have CLASSIC MATCHES WITH EACH OTHER and they all FOUGHT EACH OTHER...and lets not pretend like they was only making a Thousands Of Dollars, those guys was making MILLIONS even back then, Hagler and Leonard made $12 Million and $11 Million GUARANTEED

Hagler could have easily taken a easy fight and waited for Leonard...but he didn't!

@OTKP You can stimulate your love for boxing by simply sparring......you do not have to sacrifice your health against the top fighter in the world to get your boxing fix.......you also forget to include that these fighters do not receive the entire portion of this money
