Poor people pay a lot of taxes. I did the tax return for a GI who made 16,400. Thats poor. He paid federal income tax -- and DID NOT get it all back. He paid FICA -- and did NOT get it back, he paid phone taxes -- fuel taxes, sales taxes, cig taxes.

Some rich pay a lot of taxes -- but a lot of rich people don't pay much -- or any taxes. Depends how they made the money.

Specifically, entitlement people suck off of others, rich people have no income, they get there money from what is called "Capital gains" that is taxed at 15% while most people pay 30-40% on "earned income". Meanwhile those that get 2 mil a year on capital gains are classified as poor because they dont have income. we need to re-define poor to even start to address this.
