@exelpaperclip123 I'm so glad I read your comment. I was at like 1:50 and I was about to quit listening, thinking that the whole thing would be like that.
I swear, they need to build one of these 31 tone organs in America, maybe even a 22 tone equal one, or 16 equal! Ron, if you get rich off your microtonal music, will you build one?
@kratanuva725 Well I think The Paul Erlich Foundation would eventually have some kind of 22-tone piano, or organ, or just perhaps a touch screen midi controller in multiple key layouts based on generators. I think thats whats going to happen anyways... Yes I plan on making a 31-tone keyboard one day - or at least laying something out like the wilson Uboard. The Wilson microzone is the most insane keyboard on the face of the planet. !!! 12-tone, 19-tone and 31-tone are all playable on his layout
@kratanuva725 cont... I already have a 16-tone keyboard, and right now I'm engaged in a 16-tone celesta project and the bars have a great Pelog-ish sound to them. Theres also 3 and 4 bars repeating on the #'s tier of the vibe bar setup... the key mechanism will look similar to early celestas circia 1900's, with 3 and 4 black keys repeating..theyll be online on my site once i finish this one
These old organs really go bad out of tune. It's a shame that its virtually impossible to tune them without destroying the blue book face value of these machines.
@RoboticusMusic The 31-tone A.D. Fokker organ was just renovated and is sounding better than ever!! It's housed in Amsterdam - check out Huygens-Fokker foundation on google for some pics. They did a beautiful job, concerts are going on regularly now. I will upload more 31-tone music with some Sweelinck and Vitali pieces in historically accurate 1/4 comma meantone tuning, as well as some tricesimoprimal string music by Hans Kox and Henk Badings..
31 notes to choose from? kinda makes our 12 note shit seem dull
