  • To those who don't know, this song is called "Order To Survive", and it is from Sainkho Namtchylak's album 'Stepmother City'. I, myself, have been curious as to this song's title until I heard it on the album. This woman has got some talent. Unconventional and totally un-Western in terms of arrangement, but it's awesome.

  • I am loving the whole thing!

  • I love HER!

  • fuck yeah - Sainkho rules

  • Well, everyone's his own tastes. Surely Mindfreak is not an experimental listener, nor for sure a singer, yet very traditional.

Anyway, let's pass to important things: is this wonderful song played by a particular band from Russia, since she's singin in russian? Sainkho together with them released which albi?

Thanks for this wonderful video and song!! it's AMAZING. I'm still looking for more of her music.

  • modern rock jazz cool

  • the shitest thing i have ever heard

  • Eieeeiieeeeiiighhaeiieaaaaiiiiiieiiiieiiiaaaiieieegghgghhhhhhhhhhhhueeiiiagagghhheheh!!!!!

    Charming.

  • I do the same...I will blast this music like it was Rock or hip hop...The level of life it gives my is awesome...Real music lives forever!!!!!!

  • I think I live a very lonely life because I have no other physical person around me who can appreciate something like this and with experimental music that just brings out the truest ability to appreciate art I'm so depressed that my joy can't be taken in by another human being.

  • @KingOfUm don't worry. Only some of us who aren't programmed to be part of the herd masses can escape that prison and put value on something completely different. I think diversity is one of the most important things in general and on this planet and we are afraid of embracing something that isn't already part of our culture. And if you really ache for sharing this with someone else, I'm sure you can find an organization or some other association online which you can join somewhere near you. ^_^

  • @TheRealSlaveZero You're absolutely right; before I knew of youtube I had imagined only a very small handful of people world-wide enjoy what I enjoy, since to everyone I know my likes seem so awful, but how I was wrong!

  • Wow. I hated it...

  • Wow!

I'd love to hear her preforming a John Zorn composition.

Judging from 2.09 and 3.15, she would jolly well be able to do it.

    Cheers!

  • Ahhhh this is amazing!

  • she is one of the greatest voice artists ever!

she is in this select group with cathy barbarian and greetje bijma. she is so great as an traditional singer and an avant garde singer

  • la pj harvey di mongolia

  • what's the name of this beautiful song?

  • не думал, что по нтв такой авангард крутят...супер

  • Bon Dieu!!

    Latte Taliano...

  • wow she sings in Russian, so i can understand the words... =) man how incredibly cool

  • Car stereo? I listen to Mongolian songs around the cities and highways in California. And yes, with open windows.

To be on Music Channels, Parties, Discos, Radio TV, MTV .... is this how you classify good music? Just by making it into those categories? Rethink your logic for a second buddy

  • MTV doesn't play stuff like this because it won't make them as much money. This has absolutely no bearing on how good the music is. I, for one, think this is a hell of a lot more interesting than half the safe commercial pap they put on.

  • amazing!! love this track!!!!

  • Could you tell me please, what the song is called?

    I love it, it's awesome!

  • this is supernatural, makes shiver body and.... soul... oversteps boundary. Liberating. Thank you!

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • I love her!!! I'd like to see her gig.

  • When I was 14 years old I played Janis Joplin's "Summertime" in class. I remember a very sweet boy in my class turning around, and very innocently asking me how anyone could actually listen to "that kind of singing". He was being serious.

I think our ears open to music and sound like a flower in bloom.

Before labeling her the "worst singer" maybe you should listen to an album like 'Naked Spirit'. Then, later, you may join us in listening to this track.

    Peace and Luck

  • Actually, she can. You may not find all her songs pleasant, you may prefer other stuff, but the fact is, she knows very well what she's doing with her voice and why. The range and diversity of her expression is incredible. If there's anything that can be done with and through human voice, there's a good chance she can do it, if she chooses. Listen to Kaar Deerge or Ritual Virtuality to get an idea of how she can sound...

  • if you think she can't sing you haven't understood anything of her. One of the things you can't say about her is that she cannot sing, because her singing ability is the most impressive and amazing aspect of her as an artist. You may say that you don't like her music, but listen carefully to her voice and how she uses it in other songs, such as "Midnight Blue". That will probably will make you change your mind.

  • She's a very advanced singer. Check v=78H37gYVsL4. You say she can't sing, but that's just her style and this specific music you don't like, because she surely can sing - she can, for example, go from normal to throat seamlessly - she takes singing to another level, imho.

  • amazig :O

  • thx.

patience and tolerence or the effort to understand a new thing and if still can not agree with, just feel free to give your comments whatever they are. coz it's the many aspects of thing we call modern art lol

  • @xoxMindfreakxox I know this is a one year old comment and things / people change. I just wanted to point out that she is a 'student of voice' and can sing in a multitude of different ways. To me she is like the love child of Kate Bush and Bjork. If you don't 'get' those two artists, you won't 'get' this one. She also has 46 albums under her belt :D

  • Maronna!!!

  • who knows the title of this cool song please!!!=??

  • vraiment bon!

  • Whoa how people can disagree. I think she's brilliant. She sounds rough and sensitive at the same time.

  • This makes me want to rip my heart out and upload it as a video response...

  • minkia!

  • Grazie rulala! It's really a very nice video! She's the top 4 me.

  • great!!!

  • This is truely amazing!

  • Se la mama la pinche china. Canta de guevos!!!

  • lol

  • Bjork is great... But Sainkho takes her to school with the first sound she sing...

  • Of course!! But why did you compare Sainkho to Bjork? I mean, the differences are enormous, you can't compare them.

It's obvious that Sainkho is not a human, her voice is the best in the world, no doubt.

Bjork is my favourite pop star singer, but of course, while I adore her, I completely love Sainkho.

But anyway, Mr Hellstorm, the comparison won't stand.

  • You know, IMHO both Bjork and Sainkho are both great and original musicians who have both huge load of their native folklore in their music. Also both are outstanding vocalists. They have something in common and comparable musical sensitivity. Tht's why I comparedSainkho to Bjork. Take care, all the best, Panchorum :-)

  • Now I see. Bjork's voice has nothing in common with Sainkho's, it's obvious. (Bjork is a good singer, Sainkho an amazing one, a miraculous one), but they are original musicians with comparable musical sensitivity.

    Can't I love both of them? :D

  • It's obvious. I love them both too :-)

  • ...at very least, Bjork has mentioned Sainkho as an influence.

  • Really??? Wow, I didn't think Bjork knew of Sainkho.

  • She is absolutely fantastic...

  • Great!!

  • thank you for sharing this.

    sainkho is amazing.
