Great job with this AMV, I used to come to this video and leave the song on while thinking up my own Burns/Smithers angsty scenes ''xD That's when I was pretty much obsessed with them and the Simpsons, about two years ago...

And now I'm falling back into it! :D Yaysies! I really wish those two had some development though, or at least more scenes together, I feel like we barely ever see them anymore :( I miss the episodes that were about them!

I remember back in the day when I first watched the Simpsons. It was then when I didn't understand the appeal of the romantic implications, or the character of Waylon Smithers in general. But as I got older, and ended up in a similar situation where I met someone who I could love unconditionally, even if they didn't want me as their partner, I finally realised the appeal.

But enough about me. Good video, and I always loved this song when I was young. Funny that.

Actually, in a 9th season episode Smithers did kiss Burns on the lips and in a later episode Burns gave Smithers mouth-to-mouth (which from Smithers' point of view counted as a kiss). I don't think there have been any legit kisses from Burns' side though (if there have, what have I been missing?)
