Great guide, about how much and how long did it take to do this? I live in new york and know a lot of property owners and wish to provide them with solar panel assembly. Your guide has got me motivated to build my own 108 solar panel array.
@Uraffyouruse Currently I am looking at solar more as Research and Development. Specifically I wish to tackle the true bottleneck of solar energy. That is storage. I needed a few panels in order to research and build experimental Lead-acid deep cycle solar batteries. If you do the math, volts, watts, amps, inverters etc. and convert from DC to AC you will see what I mean. If you wish to build one to do simple tasks one panel with a controller will do a great job charging batteries.
I wish to donate (secret) from my own account to one old people home - at least 5000 watts solar system, and will be very much obliged to you, if you kindly let me know what I should need.
Do not use silicon caulk, use electronic grade RTV. Silicon caulk releases acetic acid and is not good for electronics.
