  • cool tank!!!! check my aquarium out

  • Didn't that red tail shark get too big for the tank? I've seen some get up to like a 14 inches long.

  • @skeletoman Nope he actually flipped out somehow. Not too long ago. I don’t know how as I have a good cover and there is very little space for the fish to get through that way. I dunno how but he was on the floor in the back of the tank dead one morning... LOL. Maybe my cat was fishing! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Whered u get that boat man? and this is one of the cooler set ups on you tube. Love that u have more than 2 fish in a 20 gal tank. Thats all i see and people are like well a fish needs atleast 6 gallons a piece. well i had a 10 gal and my bro did too and his cracked so now i have 3 goldfish and 2 plecos in a 10 gal tank. and they have been living for about 7 months now.

  • @Airsoft2897 Thank you very much! I think I got that at a Petco. Either that or Petsmart but it was a long time ago. I have never seen them in either store since. I wish I had bought two. Yea, I like a lot of fish but people say it’s too many. Most all of them are still alive. I have only lost a couple of Danios and a Tetra but they were almost 3 years old. All the others are over 3 years now but the tank is dirtier. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • This is far the best tank what I have seen on Youtube so far.I really like the setup and the amount of fish.Nice job! Thanks for sharing!

  • @eszkokosik Thank you very much! A lot of people bark at me for the amount of fish in this tank but I have had no problems in keeping them alive and seemingly happy. Of course you always have the normal casualty every now and then. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions people have a go at you about the amount of fish? thats stupid youve got room for 2 more angels in there but thats only unbtill you need to upgrade or they'd die cause angel fish get up to a foot in height fully grown !! otherwise those fish are fine from what I can see !!

  • @ThEsUbMaRiNeGirL Thank you very much! Yes they do. They say there are too many for good health. I appreciate the sentiment. Thanks for the support! ☠

  • Nice tank, not usually a fan or ornaments but that shipwreck is awesome

  • @mattyb201 I hear that and thank you. I agree. Normally aquarium ornaments people can choose really are bad. But this one was so classic and “ship in a bottle” like I had to have it. Now I wish I had bought two. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions Great tank! Check out mine!

Thank you! ps: I LOVE THE BOAT!

  • @10GallonBeastFisher Nice, thank you! I love the ship wreck too. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • hey guuys come check out my tank :)

  • @AhhMazingManny I’ll check it yo! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • If your a fish hobbyist than look at my channel and sub.

  • @lucarox123 I’ll check it out. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Your angel is the beast in this tank

  • @athaocity Thank you! Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • That angel dosent eat your other fish?

  • @2JJD2 No he sure doesn’t. He is a little bossy but never too aggressive. I have heard a lot of people say Angels are aggressive but I have had many and never had a problem. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • PS I LOVE the sunken ship!

  • @AwsambTheGr8 Thanks! Me too. I have never seen any more like since I got it. It's pretty old now and I wish I had bought 2 or 3 of them...LOL. Thanks for the support! ☠

  • Great tank! Beautiful setup. I am thinking of getting a tank with nice foliage like this one. Thanks for the video!

  • @AwsambTheGr8 Thank you! My pleasure. Good luck! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • hey everyone check out my freshwater aquarium and let me know what you think!

  • @dodgerdude2007 Nice tank. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • very nice for a 20 gallon tank thanks

  • @mccarty1013 Thank you! My pleasure. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • This would make a killer screensaver...<3 just sit and stare forever.

  • @MsPixelatedPaint Yea, I got the idea from the old Christmas day fireplace TV broadcasts of yesteryear. Our very first “screen savers.” Yea, not really but you know what I mean…LOL. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions If you ever make a screensaver of your fish tanks let me know k?!

  • @MsPixelatedPaint LOL... will do. Thanks for your support! ☠

  • Hey mate i want to copy your tank.

could you list you fish and how many of each:

  • @njackw There are about 2 of everything but I don’t recall the exact names of all these fish anymore. I know I have tetras of many kinds, danios, angel, platys, bala/rainbow sharks pleco, cat and I dunno maybe a molly or 2. It’s been a while and I have added new fish. A few older ones passed on now too. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Your tank is very nice! I'm 10 and was wondering what size tank to get and I'm doing fresh water! Please give me a hand!

Thanks and have a fishy day!

  • @TheNobleAssasin A 20 gallon tank will be easier to stabilize than a smaller 10 gallon. The bigger they are the easier it is to balance I think but the more water there is the more chemicals and work it will take. Good luck! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • however they are good looking, its calm my nerves

  • @yongteikseng Nice, thank you! Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • are those plants plastic or real??

  • @yongteikseng I used to have real ones but I think the fish wouldn’t let them grow and one kind didn’t do too well so I changed them to the fake plants in this video. They are plastic. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Hey CatSpit Productions please help me out! I have a 10 gallon tank with small fish i got, and i want to put more water in theyre because it doesnt have enough! So i need your help how and what to do? Please Help!

  • @MadLilly2431 You can use tap water by either letting it stand overnight or use water treatment chemicals from the pet store to prepare for adding. Add small amounts at a time and give the fish time to adjust to each addition if you are worried about shock. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions @CatspitProductions So all i have to do is put water treatment in to and then put the water in right after? Or does it need to sit? For how long? And my tank water is VERY cloudy, how do i make it clear? And do you have any tips on how to maintain fish? Thanks!

  • @MadLilly2431 If it’s cloudy, you may need to do a partial water change or you could try water clarifier. If you use water treatments you can add the treated water to the tank right away. If you rather let it sit, I’d let it sit overnight. Don’t know that I have many tips except keep fish that eat off the gravel and glass. Catfish, plecos and such. They will help keep things clean. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • cool tank dude ! what kinda fish are those though, i see angelfish, i think a platy, zebras, not sure

  • @wheresmyfrenchfries There are several kinds of fish in there. Red Eye Tetras, Angel Fish, Danios, Catfish, Pleco, Fan Tails, Gourami, Mollies, Platies and Bala Shark. Something like that anyway…LOL. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • cool tank buddy, could u please check my first video i posted on my channel, i need your comment plz

  • @cichlidlover84 Thanks, I’ll take a look. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • My angelfish was doing exactly the same thing as ure black one and I thought he was dying so I put him in pond anyways I had to te were neons and guppies

  • @az48101 Believe it or not my Angle is still kickin. He’s a little worse for the wear but still hanging in there. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @PurpleSnowFox Wait, what? I didn’t even realize… LOL. ☠

  • @PurpleSnowFox Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Hey man could you please check out my 20 gallon fish tank! It is almost as good as yours!

  • @mrsandnhs Sure... I’ll have a look. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • nicest tank i viewed yet, my first tank comment, alomost maintenance free great. beautiful too. nice fish.

  • @TheRobertdavie Thank you very much! I’m no expert or professional at this but what I do seems to work and the fish live long enough lives that I figure they do ok. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • are zebra danio's compadable with Neon tetras? if you know that'd be great! because I just got a larger tank and I have 7 zebra danio's. and I wanted to get a more mixed up tank :D

  • @runescapers4455 I believe they are. I’m pretty sure that I had that combination before and had no problems. Most of the smaller community fish like those should be compatible. Just get pairs or more of them so they have buddies to hang with. Avoid aggressive or semi aggressive fish. The fish store can tell you which is which. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • thats a nice tank you have!

  • @mrsandnhs Thank you, I’m glad you like it. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • great!

  • @rebecca23ish Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • did it have to be so long!

  • @rebecca23ish LOL… it was supposed to be like one of those fireplace videos where you can play it and relax, meditate or fall asleep to it. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • what filtration system u use?

  • @chripranqe I have 2 Aquaclear units on the tank. A small one and a larger one. All the details are in the video description. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • I Have The Same Thing I Think Lol :D

  • @Markyymarkx3 Nice. Pretty cool. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • How did you setup the camera?

    and thanks for the reply

    Keep up the good work!

  • @Catalyst1911 No problem. I just turned out all the lights in the room and used the tank light while using the camera on a tripod. Then I paned with the camera for the inset shots. Tripods help out a lot. ☠

  • I have a question

Around 0:25 below the black fish and in the middle theres a silver with black gray

Could you please tell me what type of fish it is since i want to add more fish to my aquarium

    Ill post my video soon

  • @Catalyst1911 Pretty sure they call that a Fan Tailed Tetra. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • I have black skirted tetras too, nice fish tank dude

  • @jack26707 Thanks! Yeah, they’re pretty cool. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • really nice but whats wrong with ur bala shark he swims weird

  • @alexivanhedz20 LOL, I know he still does that. Not sure but maybe he is intellectually challenged. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • Great looking tank.

  • @clydezboy Thank you! Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • 3 people are poachers

  • @wifimax1 LOL... Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • overstocked

  • @NSCaquarium LOL…. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Your angelfish is drunk or wat!!..??

  • @FaaduProductions I don’t know is he? Does he look like he is? LOL, never noticed. Who spiked the water? Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • i saw angel getting nipped at 2:00 he got ownd and he is the boss omfg ownd! and get more of the tetra they are fin nippers they will kool down in schools of 4-idk 230465621924564398764372108 lol no more no more

  • @amthebadman LOL, all the fish nip at each other at different times. He is definitely king or queen or whatever. The Tetras seemed ok to me. Didn’t really notice any excessive nipping. But I think it’s true most schooling fish do better in bigger groups. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • Are your Angelfish aggressive to you oter fish at all or do the other fish nip at the Angelfishs fins? Thanks!

  • @magpie1386 He is the boss but not aggressive enough to do any harm. I have heard they can be though. No one dares nip at his fins, they get worn from time to time and re-grow. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @magpie1386 I hate angelfish, once I put my finger in the aquarium, and he sort of bit me, which made me bleed...

  • Ur aquarium looks great but how many fishes do u have in it, i heard 10 gallon per fish is the standard way to keep fish. i have 20 gallon aquarium too but mine does not luk as big as urs.is ur 20 gallon for real?

  • @runjawon I have always used the rule 1.5 inch per gallon rule. If it were 1 fish per 10 gallons, how could you have a 20 gallon community tank? This is a 20 gallon tank. I have had community tanks like this one my entire life. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @runjawon thats for goldfish bud

  • I love the angel fish! Very pretty!

  • @tashadawn2010 Thanks much, glad you like the aquarium videos. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • In my past i've been VERY un-fortunate with fish

I'm trying again after like 4 years

What are the goods and bads of having fake plants in the tank?

    -H

  • @harryhep181 LOL, I’m not sure I’m qualified to answer that. I know that when you get live plants growing well they can help stabilize the bio filtration system and help encourage a more natural, balanced environment. I wouldn’t really know much other than that. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • @harryhep181 I suggest using real plants, as they help in the overall balance of the tank. For example, they feed on fish waste and CO2, releasing O2 in the water. Plus, they don't have to be cleaned as plastic plants do.

  • @samoht1977 I totally agree live plants are best if you can get them to live. I had some trouble with mine this time around, maybe not the right plants. But live plants benefit the tank in many ways. Thanks for your input! And thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @harryhep181 fake plants , GOOD: can be moved around when you want to or removed to clean , different colors like neons and stuff if you are into that, they wont ever die or get eaten by fish. BAD: Some look fake if you go cheap, they dont have any kind of benefit to the tanks eco system, some of the silk plants tatter and cant grow back together. this is just to name a few , hope it helps Good luck !

  • What's with the ominous music?

  • @djghostonthewheels LOL… I dunno, it was supposed to sound mystical and aquatic. Maybe a bit mysterious but I didn’t think it was ominous…Oh well, music is such. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • Thats not a cumminity you have Angelfish and ciclids.

  • @CowboyNiceguy I’m sure I don’t have any cichlids… LOL. They can be very aggressive. And I have never had an aggressive angel fish even though many people say they are. I have always had angel fish in my community tank. Never had a problem; I think most would consider this a pretty standard community tank. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • How many fish are in your tank?? also what type of fish are they??......... Nice Tank!

  • @ibrahimc96 Thank you! Oh, I’m not sure; about 10 or 15 at one time. There was a bala shark, rainbow shark, various tetras, angel fish, mollies, platys and danios…etc. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • Would be nice if you had live plants!

  • @catboyy LOL… yea this is the first time in my life where the fish were eating the plants. I had live plants but the fish ate them up and I had to replace them with fake ones. I never had that problem before even with the same types of fish. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions Thats a real shame as your fish and your tank look wicked! :)

  • @catboyy Thanks bro! Silly fish. I’ll probably try again after I move this spring. Thanks for the support!! ☠

  • cool tank, that ship in the middle is pretty cool too

go to my channel and look at my aquarium please :)

  • @LaxPlayer9367 Thank you! Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠

  • great tank but next time you do a water change put the under gravel filter back in place it really lets the look of the tank down :( but great plants and fish :)

  • @sk81514 I never had a gravel filter. I have never used a gravel filter in my life. I like the AquaClear hanging filters with ammocarb and filter elements. I don’t think it brings the “look” down. Looks great to me. Just as good as fish store tanks if not better. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @CatspitProductions just figured out that it is a ship not an filter soz but great tank

  • @sk81514 under gravel filters are bad if you have live plants lmao

  • Hey bro, really nice tank! It kinda looks bigger because you put mini bushes and stuuf in the tank

  • @hellomedude Thanks a lot. I like those mini plant things. It does add some scale. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • All these fish are only juvies, Once they ALL get to adult size, Your gonna need a bigger tank, Or those fish are going to die.

  • @brennansheppard1994 Actually there are some fish that are over 2 years old. I have had community aquariums all my life and I have never seen a community tropical fish live long enough to outgrow any tank. I think they grow pretty slow and many are bred in such a way that I don’t think they will grow that big anyway. But ultimately my fish die from “natural causes” before they grow too big. I have never had a problem with fish growth. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • HI before I set up a freshwater aquarium I must remove the ick first from the water and chlorine right? does ick kills fish? did u remove the ick and chlorine first before adding fish to the tank? I lost 5 neon tetras agains thanks to ick and now I only have 5 neon tetras left thanks to ick that remove the tiny white spots from skin fish! so if I add the ick treatment to my fish I must turn off the filter after 24 hours right?

  • @tvshowuploader7 Ick treatments can vary depending on the product. Some require the carbon to be removed from filters, others don’t. When I have breakouts of Ick, I look for the type which I can run my filter normally during treatment. Ick is commonly caused by other infected fish from the fish store. Chlorine & chloramines are removed with a chemical additive. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • are angel fish easy to keep?

  • @JBK6650 Not all the time. This one turned out to be pretty hearty but I think they like slightly acidic water and can tend to be delicate in my experience. Once in a while they will also be aggressive to other fish. I have had a few over time and only one has been a bit aggressive but he never killed any fish. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • nice set up love your angel fish

  • @dashinbg Thank you! Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • bala sharks need atleast 70 gallon, thats why urs is swimming upwards like that

  • @DjTantrik08 Really? Because I have had them before and they never did that. My brother had them too. But all in various size tanks. Never a 70 gallon. They sell them as community fish in smaller tanks. So I dunno. That Bala shark ended up dying. I figured he wasn’t right from the get go. Since I had never seen them do that before. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • @mikeyg17368 Yea, I think so. Sounds good to me except I don’t know what the oticinclus things are…LOL. Just make sure nothing is aggressive or even semi aggressive. If they are semi aggressive, they could be a possible problem. I like to go for all very friendly fish. Makes things easier. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Nice video! I love all of the fish! How many are there, and what types? I know there's a gold gourami and some zebra danios, but what else? Are those red eye tetras in there?

  • @EpicNarwhal Yes, Red Eyed Tetras, Zebra Danios that have been in there for about 2 years. Rainbow Shark, Bala Shark, Pleco, Cat, some orange or red Tetras. A few Platy’s and a couple of Mollies. And those Fan Tailed Zebra Tiger Barb type things. Sometimes I forget all the specific names..LOL. In all there are about 15 to 20 fish in my tank at any given time. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Your aquarium is very nice. You can see my aquarium in "Acquario pesci tropicali - VINCENZO IANNI". Ciao. Vincenzo.

  • @VincenzoIanni1982 You have a nice aquarium as well, Thanks for checking out my video!

  • Great Video Jon, As always.

    Love the fish.

From Daniella, - The UK Fan Club.

  • @daniellacatton Yea, this aquarium video is so much better than my first. I love the color and detail of the fish. And the cuts & pans worked out quite well I think. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @ehadden1 Thanks a lot. Glad you like my videos. Thanks for letting me know. Freshwater aquariums should be easier and much cheaper to operate than saltwater. Feel free to ask questions about screen printing anytime! Thanks for watching and commenting!
