You see, that is what I hate. That part in the film is meant to be funny. Being a person with a disability, I hate when people show pity on someone with a disability and treat them with kids gloves, not laughing at something funny just because it involves a person with a disability. I remember my mom getting mad at me laughing at the episode of Seinfeld with Marlee Matlin as a kid
