John Lennon was such a good songwriter. I truly admire him. I miss him to this day! He would have made such magnificent music if he would have lived but life made it otherwise. Great job. Very BEATLE like. I know the original is a terrible recording, so you didn't have much to work with. I think John would dig it. Yoko made sure that the Beatles didn't have any of John's better quality demo's to work with. All the Lennon vocals Yoko gave the Beatles are buried and have too much reverb and out of tune piano on them. That said, I still can't get enough of any John Lennon songs that we haven't yet heard. Thanks for your version. Sounds great.

Fantastic reworking of this song. Absolutely love it and the extra guitar bits and bell-like sounds. Could Paul Newell be McCartney? Wouldn't put this kind of thing past him, knowing his ways.

Nice arrangement. Resembles Lennon's later sound of the late 70s/early 80s. The guitar solo also great... One could imagine this to be a sample of what The Beatles' sound might have evolved into, later in life, with the band members being middle-aged and all. Fascinating!

Amazing work. I hope Paul McCartney hears this. I can understand why they gave up on it so quickly back in the 90's. Technology is better now (shows in your reprocessed work), but also I can imagine it would have been hard for Paul, George and Ringo to work on this... the recording was in bad shape so you'd be going over it over and over, and the song is heavy and emotional... it would have been emotionally draining.... kudos.
