Stupid crap? I guarantee millions of people enjoy being able to completely customize their phone, out of the box, no hacking and no extra apps. Widgets are not even close to apps, not that you'd know, you're just talking out you're ass having never used a Droid. The iPhone has way more apps, however the Droid has way more free apps, while both offer pretty much everything anyone would need.

iPhone = Xbox360

Droid = PS3

Droid is more customizable, more functional, and it does what iDon't. =)

Next year Verizon will get the right to be a carrier for the iPhone as well....so people with Verizon service won't have to switch or worry about unlocking an iPhone....that's more competition for this Droid!!!

very true, I'm 100% certain this will still not match up to the iPhone sales. It owns the smart phone market. iTunes owns the American music market.. it's currently the #1 music retailer in the US, and the #1 video retailer in the world.

8.5 billions songs sold... 1 billion HD episodes sold...

Their are 100,000 aps for the iPhone.. and 2 billions apps have been downloaded...

Well the iPhone has been out for a while so naturally it will have the advantage. There are a lot of useful apps it has too but a lot of them are those "push a button for a soundeffect" apps. Plus the iPhone is AT&T only (unless cracked), Verizon needed one. It will be interesting to see how it goes, but it does look interesting.
