If you look closely at the top of the "real" astronaut as he lands during the jump slow-motion comparison, you can see what looks like an attachment point suddenly spring upwards. It doesn't look like the helmet because it is too pointed. Are there other tell-tale signs of cable attachments? Good work with your videos!

Also, when there is less gravity, there is automatically less weight, therefore less energy transferred on the moon than on earth.

They also misled with the moon photo one, they made a photo and the moons surface did not match the darkness of the moons surface on the original NASA image and to compare the two we need to do that - make the Mythbusters image far darker, then you see the moons surface matches, both the same density (darkness) but oh look now on the Mythbusters image the Astronaut is considerably darker than he is on the NASA image = Mythbusters failed and are busted by me, a punk on a computer.
myth busters also has no credibility when it comes to the vaccum test. the footprint that they recreate looks nothing like armstrongs. his was a deep ridgid footprint, as if he had stepped on a moist pile of sand. this cannot be, unless there happens to be an abundance of water on the moon. the footprint mythbusters recrates is not nearly ridgid or distict of even deep enough to be considered a match.. but hey, we never went, so who knows, maybe there is water there, but we just dont know it.

Unfortunately, debris hit one of the support columns inside the core of the building. The other two could not hold the weight of the building up. Hours before the collapse the firefighters were pulling people back in fear of a collapse. If it was a govt. conspiracy, you're not gonna tel EVERYONE on the street.

You are correct. The Soviets DID track the Apollo missions using their own equipment, and watched helplessly as the US reached the moon before their own attempts could get off the ground. I was a TV commentator on Finnish TV for Apollo XIV in 1971. The picture from the moon went on for hours and it was obviously live. There would have been no time to rig wires and show everything in slow motion as you are saying. The astronauts' voices could be heard all the time in perfect sync with the picture.

The Apollo footage shows the suit moving uniformly with the body, while the mythbusters footage shows the suit jerking around because it is not all in a simulated low grav state, just the rigid parts attached to the harness. Jamie even mentions this during the full-speed harnessed footage. Even if you slow it down, there is a difference between the movement of the parts connected to the harness and the others.

However, in the sixties NASA was able to fulfill JFK's goal in less than one decade, and they were not fully funded. We may have the technology now, but it would take a long time to get there.

Your conclusion is also off. This is not 'confirmed'. This is 'plausible', if it holds up after you fix the speed. Until you can actually go and prove it firsthand, it isn't confirmed.
I may have missed something, but didn't Jamie say that to get the correct speed for slow motion, they would film at 48 FPS and play at 24? Which means it would be a reduced speed of 50%, not 67%. There is a significant difference there. You may want to check that.
look at the arm tho adams falls much faster because that still weighs the same and is harder to hold up. anyways china already confirmed it when they orbited the moon they found the landing site

If the object is massive enough, though it will cause such an attraction that other objects will actually cling to it. IE the Earth, sun or entire universe. The moon, although small still exerts a gravitational force of 1/6th that of the earth. This is why NASA slowed the footage down, to get 1/6th speed on the astronauts descent to the studio surface.

If you look closely at the top of the "real" astronaut as he lands during the jump slow-motion comparison, you can see what looks like an attachment point suddenly spring upwards. It doesn't look like the helmet because it is too pointed. Are there other tell-tale signs of cable attachments? Good work with your videos!

They also misled with the moon photo one, they made a photo and the moons surface did not match the darkness of the moons surface on the original NASA image and to compare the two we need to do that - make the Mythbusters image far darker, then you see the moons surface matches, both the same density (darkness) but oh look now on the Mythbusters image the Astronaut is considerably darker than he is on the NASA image = Mythbusters failed and are busted by me, a punk on a computer.

myth busters also has no credibility when it comes to the vaccum test. the footprint that they recreate looks nothing like armstrongs. his was a deep ridgid footprint, as if he had stepped on a moist pile of sand. this cannot be, unless there happens to be an abundance of water on the moon. the footprint mythbusters recrates is not nearly ridgid or distict of even deep enough to be considered a match.. but hey, we never went, so who knows, maybe there is water there, but we just dont know it.

I am going to spend a certain amount of time in the air and the sand is going to spend a different amount of time in the air because it is not being lifted by my jump. The sand is only in the air because I kicked it. It is not part of the jump. Two different types of force.

Unfortunately, debris hit one of the support columns inside the core of the building. The other two could not hold the weight of the building up. Hours before the collapse the firefighters were pulling people back in fear of a collapse. If it was a govt. conspiracy, you're not gonna tel EVERYONE on the street.

Explosions make very loud sounds (as we all know) this is because of the air pressure and energy. Just before the WTC7 collapse, there's not a bang to be heard anywhere. It's not possible to silently demolish a building, go check it out.

The steal did not actually break, it just buckled intensely. What happened afterward is that all the above floors actually could not bear the weight of the one above them. Their supports came down shortly afterward leading to a chain reaction that dropped the whole building in 14.9 seconds.

You are correct. The Soviets DID track the Apollo missions using their own equipment, and watched helplessly as the US reached the moon before their own attempts could get off the ground. I was a TV commentator on Finnish TV for Apollo XIV in 1971. The picture from the moon went on for hours and it was obviously live. There would have been no time to rig wires and show everything in slow motion as you are saying. The astronauts' voices could be heard all the time in perfect sync with the picture.

except if you pay attention to the motion of the suit on his body. The Apollo footage shows the suit moving uniformly with the body, while the mythbusters footage shows the suit jerking around because it is not all in a simulated low grav state, just the rigid parts attached to the harness. Jamie even mentions this during the full-speed harnessed footage. Even if you slow it down, there is a difference between the movement of the parts connected to the harness and the others.

@karakan1453 Let's say that the jump salute was about 0,40 meters, and that the Moon's g-force is 0,165 - this means that the same jump on Earth would've been 0,165*0,40 = 6,6 cm.
This sounds totally likely if you only make an average jump without bending your knees that much, and also wear a very heavy spacesuit.

Shane is retarded. It is pretty obvious NASA in fact used this method for their lower gravity effect. The cable system used might be different. Spring loaded with counter weights instead of just a pulley and counter weight.
But man is it obvious. It looks almost exactly the same.
They should have had Adam jumping while standing in sand. Then you can see the sand fall to the floor first just like in the NASA video.
Both videos are obviously taken in Earth's gravity.

Excellent video! It is straight to the point. Myth Busters did not try it with both Wire AND slow motion at the same time. Only one at a time. Simple as that.
WJ simply slowed down the wire video and it looks the same as NASA's gravity.

I will keep this simple for the realization that most of you conspiracy theorists have likely never even seen real scientific journals; not going to a university and living in your parents basement has that effect. I just feel that it is really an effrontery to the scientists whose life travails achieved this goal and you are spitting in the face of all they achieved. Good job. I also worked with a show that used wire support work, and always can see the jerky movements when I watch the moon "footage". Plus they never explain away the Van Allen belts of radiation do they? Fake moon.

@beastshawnee Well, if you KNEW any physics then you I'd listen to you. x.x Radiation is everywhere, if you get a tan you're basically standing in the radiation of the sun for so long that your skin goes "oh shit, I need to protect myself!". If you stand there for too long you MIGHT get cancer. You don't HAVE to get cancer but there's always a small risk of it since that's how radiation works. Dangerous radiation have a higher percentage of cancer/radiation sickness. Van Allen isn't part of that

Yes it looks hopelessly simillar to be false, BUT WAIT! Later in the SAME FRIGIN EPISODE, they literaly simulate moon gravity in the free fall plane. If your going to use a resource to prove to yourself that the human race are idiots, try a use the entire thing, and not just 4:00 of one part of one episode that lasts a good total of 45 minutes.

It's fun to watch all the self deception or play-acting- who knows what two special-effects guys really think- and who cares? I looked into the hoax side of things off and on for a few years before I realized Apollo was studio work. You just naturally cheer on people who appear to strap themselves into rockets.- what else is being faked and for what purpose? Any soft landings on the moon at all? What does the moon's surface really look like- the wet Taikonauts follow NASA's wire work.

You know the problem with the whole we didnt go to the moon theory is that there is a mirror on the moon that is used every day to sync clocks and such. back in 69 robotics were horrible and no where near what they are today. So how did it get there if it were not astronauts. ? I dont know why its so hard for people to believe we went to the moon... We could go to the moon in a month in this day and age.

@jayfakta NASA says that if fully funded it would take them decades to get to the moon, according to the RIDE report. However, in the sixties NASA was able to fulfill JFK's goal in less than one decade, and they were not fully funded. Not to mention they launched like 9 Saturn Rockets and "landed on the moon" 6 times within three years. It COULD NOT have ever happened. We may have the technology now, but it would take a long time to get there.

Continued. The nice thing about gravity is that it is universal and thus applies on everything in it's field. So I suggest you watch a few of the video's where you have moving astronauts, equipment and environment. If you can show, and back it up with some calculations, that it is all, or most of it, made in slow motion and using wires I'll be more impressed.

Although Adam doesn't bend down so far, when he lands he still seems to be absorbing quite an impact, one that the Apollo 16 footage is missing. Despite the 'technical' correct weight for the moon, Adams decent is quicker then our moomman's. I may have missed something, but didn't Jamie say that to get the correct speed for slow motion, they would film at 48 FPS and play at 24? Which means it would be a reduced speed of 50%, not 67%. There is a significant difference there. You may want to check that.

@ghostdk No. Gravity is caused by the gravitational force exerted from an object. If the object is massive enough, though it will cause such an attraction that other objects will actually cling to it. IE the Earth, sun or entire universe. The moon, although small still exerts a gravitational force of 1/6th that of the earth. This is why NASA slowed the footage down, to get 1/6th speed on the astronauts descent to the studio surface.
