i've never tried crystal but why is it better than the other games such as fire red, saffire etc? personally i loved saffire, emerald and ruby cuz there was so much content in it.

because in Crystal you get to go to two regions. It's also a sequel to Kanto, so you get to see the changes that have happened in Kanto since Yellow. You get to battle Red and Blue...

I think this will happen for the double battle: 

Ur parner will probably have the same sprite as you regardless of what gender ur partner is, and ur enemies will always be the opposite gen of u,regardless of what gender they picked

the genders stay the same as when you first picked them in those games, so why would they make it worse and change it into that?

Besides, if there's 2 girls and 2 boys in that multi battle, then one of each could just switch around and therefore have a battle of boy+girl vs boy+girl.

-Totodile: Bulky Physical Sweeper

-Chikoriita: Can do either Tank or Special wall, both if you want

It all depend on what job you want your starter to do. If you want to start with a wall, go for Chiikoriita, If you want a special Sweeper, then Cyndaquil is your man. And if you're looking to start with a Physical sweeper, then Totodile is the best of the three.

there are two reasons why there coming out with silver and gold A: they are pretty easy to make [considering the last three games]. B: it's introducing all the regions.... for what you might ask... well I'm 99.9% positive that they will be releasing a game with all the regions and all the pokemon. if you think about it it's the most logical reason why they would remake all the game boy color games.

whats all the hype about? itll be just like gold/silver except some new places and maybe some gen3 and gen4 pokemon. but it will also have worse things in it, like the shitty pokemon ds graphics, ruins the old pokemon memories, nostalgic pokemon fans wont enjoy this too much, except for little kids who werent alive to play the classics. its hard to be a fan of the classics and the DS versions. almost impossible.

im a fan of the old too i grew up on them but i have been waiting for a remake of these games so as many others so we really won't care about the new stuff but the games themselves will definitely keep us play for a good while but we can't live in the past but this is like past and future together so im good with this.

good point Pktrainer100, but why do you want remakes, i think the originals are perfect, its like remaking a classic movie, but the remake is never better, you cant beat the originals, i have to admit firered and leafgreen were pretty damn good, but that was the GBA days, i dislike Diamond and Pearl, so i dont have high expectations for HeartGold and SoulSilver. but i might be wrong, ill have to wait and see when the game comes out.

im not saying stay with the old graphics, but they should have kept it with firered leafgreen graphics, they try too hard to make it updated with the current time, pokemon games dont need amazing graphics, it makes the game run slightly slower anyways. and i wasnt a fan of diamond/pearl for multiple reasons, the map sucked, the wild pokemon werent very selective. and gen 4 pokemon suck in general, a lot of them seemed to be slapped together just to fill in the pokedex.

yea they could stay with current time but i think they overdid it, its like 3Dish. idk its just a mans opinion. i play DS games like SOnic Rush and the graphics dont look like that, graphics play a big part in games, it doesnt necesarrily mean they have to be updated as possible. that can ruin it for some ppl. HG/SS will be better than Diamond and Pearl, i just how much better, i love the Johto map and Johto pokemon, so theres some positive things about this game, but i wont get too excited

One includes finding of items while you're walking. Items such as Potions. You will also come across wild Pokémon.
