As artek said, for one, you`ll have to leave US Army, then get polish citizenship (which should be somewhat easier as your father had it) then join the Polish Army... but, I`m not sure how. Army is being restructured, for fully professional (atm conscripts make up 40-50% of it). Pays are low (comparing to yours in US Army, very low) and all the international missions are volountary.

As artek said, for one, you`ll have to leave US Army, then get polish citizenship (which should be somewhat easier as your father had it) then join the Polish Army... but, I`m not sure how. Army is being restructured, for fully professional (atm conscripts make up 40-50% of it). Pays are low (comparing to yours in US Army, very low) and all the international missions are volountary.
Btw. How`s that you`re such an old fart and you`ve learnt about your polish roots just recently?

Anybody who criticizes the Polish military clearly has no sense of history. There were units of the Polish cavalry that attacked the Panzers on horse-back. There was also an entire legion that sailed to England and declared itself under the command of Churchill, so long as he wanted to fight the Germans. Bad Ass 100%. Anyone who says otherwise is a moron. As an American, I would proudly fight along the Poles any day of the week.

The true is that 3 of September 1939. Polish Cavalry brigade destroyed about approximately 100 tanks and AFVs. Germans tanks near Mokra village . You can find info in wikipedia . This about stupid cavalery charge it was lies. Just look for: Battle of Lasy Królewskie ,Tuchola Forest myth. G.
