A shadestick is a base for your eyes to add some colour to your eyeshadow or to make it pop, you can buy these at MAC stores, MAC counters, online at MAC, MAC pro, in America CCO's and sometimes ebay, but it might be fake on ebay. Hope this helped! :)

but one question... why spend $20 on a pigment and then press it because then you can only use it as an eyeshadow?

I don't understand pigments... I'm horrible with them. :D

it's easier to work with when it's pressed also some colors that come in pigments do not come in pan/eyeshadow form. also try applying it wet (less fallout and the colors pop)

i just got the spiced chocolate quad by mail via ebay. i already bought the other two quads of the collection at my local mac store and these two contains 6g in total but the one via ebay has only 5.2 g.

do you - as a macoholic too - know if there are different sizes for the quads? at the uk mac website the spiced chocolate quad has 4.8 g. i'm confused :(

The tempting quad I have has says 6g so I'm not sure why the site says 4.8g I would call their customer service dept to find out. I know the pigments in the cult of cherry were less grams 4.3g vs the regular 7.5g jars.

yeah my tempting and shadowy lady quads are 6g too. i will ask the customer service. i'm a bit sad, because at the auction the image was with the 6g quad and it said full size (this discription lets me think that there might be a smaller size for the quads for some usage or country)

i will post if i know anything new. i already miss those 0.8 g because the spiced chocolate quad is soooo pretty. i love it :)
